My old host had me offline for 6 weeks and I was beyond frustrated. DreamIT Host stepped in, worked through the issues with me, and got everything running again.

constantly gets stuck on attempting to connect and takes forever just to connect to certain servers. Today it would not connect at all. I even updated the app hoping it would fix the issue, but it still didn’t do anything. I tried multiple countries and servers and the same problem keeps happening.
At this point I’m afraid to even update the app because previously I had to completely uninstall everything and download it again just to get the VPN working properly. It’s ridiculous that I had to reinstall the whole program just to make the service function again.
And even when it finally does connect, the connection is so sluggish and unusable that I end up disconnecting it anyway because it becomes impossible to use properly.
Especially during this time with ID checking and privacy concerns, I need a stable VPN more than ever to keep me safe, and right now you guys are absolutely not doing that.
And please don’t blame my internet connection. I have around 2000 Mbps download speeds and 200 Mbps upload speeds, so the issue is clearly not on my end.
Surfshark, your service is getting worse, not better, and I’m seriously thinking about moving to another VPN provider because right now this feels like a waste of money. I really need a proper fix because the experience has become consistently unreliable and beyond frustrating.

Throughout the program I experienced inconsistent coaching, conflicting advice, and ongoing pressure to spend additional money on apps, advertising, and other services that were not clearly disclosed upfront. Despite raising concerns, I felt like the goalposts continually changed.
What concerns me most is that refund eligibility conditions and policy interpretations only seemed to appear after I formally raised my dispute. I have also since connected with multiple other unhappy clients who report very similar experiences and significant financial losses.
Personally, I believe the amount of money charged for this program could be far better invested with more reputable companies that honour their promises and provide genuine support to their clients. Based on my experience, I would not recommend investing in Ecom Capital.

They pressure you and ring you for months to try and bring you on board and then when you finally are on board, everything is buggy, half of the service they offer is unavailable and the rest is just garbage tied together with garbage. They use the fact that they own yellow pages to gain your trust. I for one am regretting not looking deeper into them because they dont have accessible reviews on Google, Facebook or any major business profile they control, with the only reviews on third party websites like ProductReviews and TrustPilot where they're poorly rated and have no control over the reviews that go up

everyday use programs stopped working. My home internet slowed down about 40%. The websites I've been visiting or working with started showing messages saying "The website can not be reached". If think that their technical support may help you, you're probably delusional! First you have to go through the exhuasting chat ith a bot, that provides all unnecessary staff you didn't even ask for. You have to have hell of the experience with those stubborn bots trolling you for hours, before you actually force them to transfer you to a live person. And then they sell you the same routine what the internet providers, perform a hard reset of your modem, check the connection nonsense, restart your computer etc., etc., treating you like you're born yesterday. After that they send you bunch of emails, how to mess with operating system and change protocols you normally wouldn't have to and wouldn't want to. Of course even if you change anything and everything the NordVPN application still wouldn't work. So you start all over, the frustrating and desperate attempt of calling them, wasting you precious time and hoping for the best. Aa-aa! No way! Now, if you are lucky enough to get through to live person, they would ask to send some pictures to them, but they ould send an email hat exactly they want. This is endless, never ending story, ping-pong game, you call them, they dismiss you with some cr#p, it doesn't ork, you call them again, like a vicious cycle, until you give up! But now, I am so done with that. The program doesn't even open anymore. Although, the user name and email is correct, I cannot to login, because the password I've been using for past 11 months is being rejected. If you ant to save money go for something Australian or something like [Name Removed] which apparently is the best. I lost $200 after great discount they gave me for signing up for 24 months. Not worth even 20 bucks, rubbish and false advertising.

Since disputing the invoice, the company has relied solely on its Terms of Service and continued to pursue payment, despite the matter being clearly and promptly disputed. More concerningly, there has been implied escalation toward restricting unrelated services that are fully paid and in good standing. From a customer perspective, this creates significant pressure to pay a disputed invoice rather than resolving the underlying issue. There has also been no meaningful engagement in a formal dispute resolution process or escalation pathway, despite repeated requests. In my view, this raises concerns under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), particularly in relation to fair dealing, transparency in cancellation processes, and the use of disproportionate pressure tactics in debt recovery where a dispute is active. Overall experience highlights issues around: reliability of cancellation processing accessibility of support channels during urgent billing issues fairness of leveraging service restrictions during an active dispute lack of formal dispute resolution engagement Proceed with caution when using trial services, as cancellation may not be reliably processed and resolving billing issues appears unnecessarily difficult.

damaging. I signed up after being approached by a Podium representative at a jewellery trade fair. At the time, I clearly explained that I was travelling overseas and would not be in a position to use the platform or complete training straight away. I was told, as I understood it, that I would not be charged until I had been trained and was ready to use the service.
That is not what happened.
In my experience, I was charged before the service was properly onboarded, before I had been properly trained, and before I was actually able to use the platform in any meaningful way. The onboarding and training did not happen properly. Podium later acknowledged issues by discussing credits and further training, but the core problem was never properly fixed.
The most concerning part was the billing and cancellation experience. Even after I made it clear that I wanted the account cancelled and that no further amounts should be taken, Podium continued to treat me as locked into the contract. I was told the agreement had auto-renewed even added 1 more year of misery and that I remained liable for further charges. From my perspective, this was completely unreasonable because I had not received the proper training or support that was central to why I agreed to the service in the first place.
This was not a situation where I used the platform successfully and then simply changed my mind. My issue is that I did not receive the proper onboarding, did not get meaningful use of the platform, repeatedly raised the problem, repeatedly asked for cancellation and refund action, and still faced ongoing charges.
When I later spoke with Podium again, I explained the previous experience and was led to believe they would try to resolve the matter, provide proper onboarding, and move forward on a better basis. A new offer was discussed, including onboarding within two business days, a free month, and a lower monthly package. After I agreed, the same type of issue appeared to happen again. I was still asking when training would occur, and instead of the previous dispute being properly resolved, I was faced with further billing issues and references to prior amounts allegedly owing.
IN TOTAL THEY CHARGED ME ON DD AROUND $13,000 FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS AND DID NOT ALLOW ME TO CANCEL THE SERVICE.
For a small business, this sort of experience is incredibly stressful. The financial impact was significant, but the bigger issue was the lack of accountability. I felt passed around, given promises of credits or support, and then left dealing with ongoing charges and contract terms instead of a proper resolution.
Based on my experience, I would strongly not recommend Podium to even my enemies. In my view, the sales, onboarding, billing and cancellation process was handled very poorly and they only cared that i was stuck in a DD that they took money out every month, and I am now pursuing the matter formally.

errors: sometimes the upload box will simply disappear on you, requiring you to refresh the application page, losing everything else you've put in; sometimes, a drop-down will simply inform you the code string for it isn't valid. Snug will sometimes ask for tedious doubling up, like wanting rental ledgers both in the 'Other Documents', yet also to re-upload it to attach to each property you've ever lived in - or by asking you to fill in your current address details in the application, and also on your profile. It features a pointless 'match metric' that seems to only care that there's more information, not what that information actually is.
The amount of extra stress this has added to my application for a potential home has ensured I will simply not apply with anywhere that uses Snug as their application method. If it isn't redoing applications because the site's bugged, it's being spammed emails. Even my landlord was being pestered by them. Don't trust any good reviews you see of this enterprise.
If you are a real estate company, or a private rental provider, I would strongly recommend avoiding Snug - you will miss out on good tenants who simply will not jump through the hoops this site requires that others simply don't. Other rental application sites are simply more competent and less invasive than Snug. One star because I cannot give it any lower.
