Vegetarianism is really nothing new or special and should not be difficult to offer, especially since they also increased their prices and meat-free options are generally cheaper. They responded under a google review that they "follow what is popular with customers", this just shows they don't actually care to bring healthy meals to everybody. They put on the menu what brings in most money, discarding people who were on a journey, making progress, like myself- a single mum of 3, who started to feel better about herself. Real shame.

For a few months after cancellation, I was hounded with phone calls, further email deals, and heavy marketing pushes which I all ignored and/or declined.

Then came 29/5/26, I received a text message informing of an impending meal delivery. I was considered as spam similar to the other countless advertising sms's I had received from Youfoodz.

Then on 30/5/26, a meal box was delivered, which I had NEVER SUBSCRIBED OR ORDERED. Upon checking my bank statement, Youfoodz CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT AUTHORITY on 31/5/26.

I immediately contacted their customer service agent on messaging (unhelpful) and on their phone number advertised on their website. Customer service agent ("S" or "Y" - offered my two different names) answered and I explained the situation. I requested a refund, cancellation of my subscription/account, and sought instruction for return of the meal box I had not ordered.

After much discussion, allegedly involving their supervisor: 1. Youfoodz will not refund full amount, only 50%. 2. Youfoodz will not delete customer details, records or credit card details. 3. Youfoodz will not arrange pick of the random meal box they delivered to my address without authority/order.

I raised that by above intention Youfoodz is breaching several Australian Consumer Law, which they were happy to admit, but not remediate. I also requested an email (in writing) of their intention to NOT REFUND the UNAUTHORISED TRANSACTION, which they did not do. Instead an email arrived confirming another random matter offering partial refund & future credit voucher

Customer support is a waste of time so don't bother calling for issues. It was akin to an American accented Southeast Asian robot on a repeat audio loop of "I understand, but this is the best we can offer".

So, 1. ACCC complain lodged 2. Bank/Credit card company - fraudulent charge transaction claim lodged. 3. Online reviewsszz commenced

They offer meals like Beef Rendang, Beef Bourguignon, Thai Red Chicken Curry, Stir-fry Honey Soy Chicken with Singaporean noodles, Udon Stir fried with black pepper beef. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience. The ingredients are usually fresh, and the meat and produce have been good quality.

The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that the delivery can be a bit hit and miss. I’ve found my box left at a neighbour’s front door before, and a couple of deliveries have arrived later than the stated time frame. I leave the house at 6:30am, and while the delivery cut-off used to be 6am, it’s now 7am, and sometimes it’s arrived even later than that.

I lost weight when they had in person in town service, and could switch out foods, but not on mailorder plan. And, when I called to cancel, (I said "cancel my subscription, please"). they said it was too late for this order, and would I like to switch some foods. I said yes to that, and the person I talked to said she'd change the foods. I never changed to say don't cancel the subscription. So that order came with the changed food (still not to my liking). But I checked the account and it said cart was empty so I figured the person I talked to had done what I had asked, canceled my order. But No, then 2 weeks later another delivery. I called and they said I hadn't canceled. I was angry and again said cancel the subscription but I did hang up on the person I talked to who again wouldn't cancel the order that hadn't yet processed. But I did say "cancel the order." 'Guess what.. 2 weeks later another delivery appeared. I called again, but later I figured I would look online to see what the fine print said, and found a chat. I cancelled again on the chat, and no I didn't hang up this time. Hoping the cancellation is now complete. Terrible, it is a gimmick to get you not to leave. That is probably because they are going under. I also asked them to stop sending advertisements, but they are still doing it.

fresh produce, almost everything I need for running the household is available, including quality cleaning products, pet products and skin care. Emma and her team communicates well. The produce is always fresh. They offer refunds but I rarely complained. Fresh seasonal produce may not look perfect, but that's how nature is. Despite the look, the flavour is always exceptional. There's no excessive packaging like what the supermarkets do. I'm happy to support our hardworking organic farmers. Most importantly, I'm not putting harmful pesticides into my stomach!!!

This completely destroys and any semblance of gourmet slicing or carving and leads to dry sheets of protein that are unpleasant to eat. They try to compensate by dousing it in "gravy". eg Lamb, turkey. beef. I found their interpretation of dishes relying on the real food to be very underwhelming.
