"Get safe wiring today" We rang on Tuesday and the tradesman arrived on Thursday. Gave us a quote then claimed could not replace the switch then, but would come back on Monday (Thursday before long weekend). We pointed out the steps were dangerous, but "best he could do". We paid deposit. We then had notification from GHS Plumbing and Electrical that the job could not be done till week after next. I insisted the job be done on Monday or my deposit back. They claimed a cancellation, and did the job on Monday. Their letter drop claimed a 15% discount for seniors. When I asked about the discount, it was claimed to have been automatically included in the quote, although the quote did not reflect this. It was added as a note on the invoice, after my query, althouth it was not reflected in the price. As to the job. The tradesman who did the job was competent and politite. The job took less than 30 minutes. I will not use them again.

Louis installed 2 exhaust fans and downlights in my home. He was great to deal with, respectful and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend him.

metropolitan told me it was a major job and they need to access in through the wall behind the kitchen, remove ensuite tiles to fix. Called in another company who fixed it in under 2 hours from the kitchen side and cost me $350 in total. If it was that easy why didn’t metropolitan fixed in when they attended site???? I have attached the original review and the new repair that Eire plumbing fixed for a third of the price. Metropolitan you should be so ashamed of your lack of customer service and over the top pricing. Absolute money grabbing rip off artists. They should be shut down.

Unfortunately, the plumber sent to us left after telling me the blockage was in the street and that Greater Western Water would need to attend. Kane, however, didn’t just make the same assumption and leave. He stayed, put a camera down the sewer inspection point and actually confirmed what was happening.

Even though we hadn’t called The Drain Man ourselves, Kane went out of his way to explain the situation to us, keep us informed about what was happening and what needed to be done, and was also organising the matter with Greater Western Water.

That level of professionalism, initiative and genuine helpfulness really stood out. He could easily have just dealt with the neighbours who had called him, but instead he made sure we understood what was going on too.

A huge thank you to Kane for going above and beyond when he absolutely didn’t have to. Excellent service and a credit to The Drain Man.

promptly. I contacted this company this morning by phone at 10.10 am, no response. I appreciate plumbers are busy so after trying several others I contacted them again at 1:45 pm. I was 100% guaranteed attendance today & I requested a call 30 mins prior to my visit as I had to very briefly leave my house for another urgent matter. I was guaranteed again this was no issue & I was assured Id receive a call to allow me time to return to my home; the woman I spoke to said she’d even ring the plumber herself to ensure this as I didn’t want to miss the plumber (because my plumbing need was so important & urgent!). But instead the plumber turned up with no warning/with no call as was agreed, & when I spoke to him he said he needs to go to another area & also told me I didn’t call earlier in the morning which is not the case, the woman I spoke to confirmed she was aware I called at 10:10 am. She then confirmed hes not waiting & he’s not coming back today. The plumber didn’t even bother to take the time to consider or follow an easy & simple enough request. A complete an utter waste of my time-disorganised & unreliable is how they operate. They really impacted my day, let me down & most of all have now placed other immediate work st my home at risk with rain coming tomorrow night (my urgent plumbing issue is external). This guy showed no regard or care whatsoever for me as a customer; horrible & disappointing experience. Beware due to unreliability.

Hi, This is a quick message to let you know that our plumber is working on another job, and we are running slightly behind schedule. We will keep you up to date if there are any further delays. Otherwise your plumber will call you when they are 30 minutes away from your location. Please feel free to go about your day as normal. Kind regards the team at Fix It Right Plumbing.

Then another text at 2.02pm, Just providing you with another update. Our plumber is still currently delayed, best rest assured, we haven’t forgotten about you, and you are still on our schedule. We will keep you informed of any changes our end.

Phone call to advise the plumber won’t be coming today. Rescheduled for Thursday 17 September, same story, nice text messages and a no show again. Rescheduled again for today Tuesday 22 September and again the reassuring text messages and a no show for the third time
