out was lovely and professional, so this review is not a reflection of him personally. However, we were quoted around $2,500 to service two toilets.

We were so surprised by the price that we contacted two other plumbers for comparison. We were told the same job would be around $700.

That is a huge difference.

We were also charged a $149 service/call-out fee, which we understand and would normally have no issue with. However, all we received for that fee was a quote that, based on the other quotes we subsequently obtained, appeared extremely inflated.

We understand that businesses set their own prices, but after speaking with other plumbers, we felt the quote we received was extremely unreasonable. As first-time customers, we were very disappointed by the experience.

Unfortunately, we would not use this company again and cannot recommend them.

The plumber himself was lovely it was the pricing and overall experience that really made this experience disappointing.

Highly recommend! Brendan and Zaii were extremely professional, polite and courteous and did a fantastic job to fulfill our request for the work required. They certainly work above and beyond the desired task.

metropolitan told me it was a major job and they need to access in through the wall behind the kitchen, remove ensuite tiles to fix. Called in another company who fixed it in under 2 hours from the kitchen side and cost me $350 in total. If it was that easy why didn’t metropolitan fixed in when they attended site???? I have attached the original review and the new repair that Eire plumbing fixed for a third of the price. Metropolitan you should be so ashamed of your lack of customer service and over the top pricing. Absolute money grabbing rip off artists. They should be shut down.

They say you are told cost upfront but no I just signed for him to whatever I was not told the cost upfront, then when I got the bill -I threw a mental so they gave me 100 bucks off. I required gas to electrical conversion and installation of hot water heater complex , always an expense needed careful consideration , took over ten hours ,Lawrence did a fantastic job as Naijj electrician did an amazing job they are both lovely people and know how to do their job ,makes a difference . vanity waste. I terminated the contract after the tap replacement which cost approximately $1,100 which was done in under 15 min as I did not feel this represented fair value. I declined the vanity repair and subsequently had the leak fixed which required the replacing a simple sealing ring for under $100. I requested an explanation of the pricing, but the response did not address my concerns. As an NDIS participant on a limited budget, clear, transparent pricing and good value are particularly important to me. Based on my experience, I recommend obtaining several detailed fixed-price quotes before committing to plumbing work.
