supervisor through their proxy and need improvement. The next day I worked harder yet same feedback and was informed to cease service. Worked very hard for 2 days and was dismissed by their HR agent with vague feedback. The person was not even aware what product I was working on and cannot tell me my working pace nor expected output. No direct communication with supervisor, no direct feedback/guidance. Seems dishonest and manipulative, despite HR rep calm and polite tone. My theory is they needed extra hand for unexpected large order, and do not want to pay minimum wage and thus recruit somebody as "trial". Had yet to get paid as told by HR rep for "trial period". Communication was almost exclusively text and verbal. None in writing, legally binding. Very sketchy. Company they in-house for is filled with workers from two particular background, chatting in their language. None have good command of English. Possible ethnic discrimination/clique involved. Would advice against taking any call from them.

I have been working with Hoban for over two years, on and off. Each time I've completed a role, the team has been supportive and professional. I enjoy working on the roles I get assigned.

The service promotes a “money-back guarantee,” which reasonably suggests a full refund if you cancel within the stated period. I cancelled well within that timeframe, yet only received a partial refund with no clear justification.

After reviewing their own Terms of Use, there is:

No mention of partial refunds, and No clear explanation of how refunds are calculated

At the same time, their terms state that refunds are not guaranteed, which creates a confusing and one-sided situation for customers.

This combination of:

Advertising a guarantee While not actually defining refund outcomes

feels misleading and lacks transparency.

The platform itself is basic and not worth the ongoing subscription cost in my opinion, especially given how the billing and refund process is handled.

Overall warning: Be very careful before subscribing. Even if you cancel within the supposed refund period, you may not receive your full money back.
