for what should be a long-term appliance. What makes this worse is the terrible service I’ve received trying to get it repaired. I contacted the repairs team and have been repeatedly put off, with no real sense of urgency or accountability. I’ve now been told I have to wait three weeks just for a repair to be organized. Not completed—just organized. I’ve explained multiple times that this is a fridge, a basic household necessity, and that we can’t go without one for weeks. They clearly do not care. Their attitude shows a complete lack of respect for the customer and no understanding of how important timely service is when it comes to appliances like this. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I would strongly caution anyone against buying this product. Poor build quality, and even worse after-sales support. Avoid.

I am extremely disappointed with the **Electrolux PURE Well Q7 Animal Stick vacuum**. After just three years of normal household use, the battery is… Read more

practically dead — it now runs for about **1½ minutes** before shutting off. Even before it completely failed, the battery life was never impressive and noticeably declined far too early.

What makes this situation even worse is that the warranty only lasts two years, so Electrolux refuses to cover any repair. When I contacted customer care, I was told that the battery cannot even be replaced because *“manufacturer has discontinued production and it is no longer supplied through our parts network.”* In other words, a relatively new vacuum cleaner has become unusable simply because a single part is no longer available.

I reached out via email asking for some goodwill support, but they just kept repeating that the product is out of warranty. No flexibility, no solution, no effort to stand behind their product.

It is incredibly frustrating to have to throw away a fairly new vacuum cleaner because of a non-replaceable battery. This is not only disappointing from a customer service perspective, but also terrible from an environmental standpoint. Promoting sustainability while making essential parts unavailable after such a short time feels extremely short-sighted.

After this experience — both with the product quality and the customer service — I will not be buying from Electrolux again.

Electrolux Is Rubbish - Short Lifespan – When I updated my kitchen I purchased all Electrolux and now regret it. Firstly the dishwasher falls apart and now the oven, the digital display… Read more

stops and the oven would not operate, so I paid for the module replacment and a week later the fan that keeps the electronics cool became intermittent and shut everything down until things cooled down. It has only been a little over 6 years since installed and does not get in anyway a heavy workload. I think there are slightly more expensive units out there such as Bosch that last for years and years, because the quality out of Electrolux is garbage as evidenced by my dishwasherand now oven - BTW Westinghouse is out of the same factory as Electrolux so personally I'll won't be considering that brand.

I'm a dog and cat owner with hard floors and a few rugs. Bags for my old barrel electrolux became difficult to find (and I couldn't get the hose to… Read more

stay on, or the dogs to stop shedding, or the house to keep clean.. sigh) so I found the bagless PC91ANIMAT which had a good Choice review. And it's Red!!!

I must confess, I don't vacuum often, so it takes a hammering when I do. And I have an old house with lots of nooks and crannies that traditional vacuum heads don't often reach but dog hair does.

This is an amazingly powerful vacuum. Either of the two heads work a treat on the hard floor, and the brush tool works well as a duster and cobwebber. The brush tool does get clogged more than I like as it has a wide mouth and weirdly narrow apeture into the wand. It's easy to unclog and the aperture has an openable "jaw". I'm just not sure of the design logic though.

The bagless bit is easy to empty, and if you need to, you can check the waste for those $2 coins and various things you shouldn't have vacuumed, which I appreciate.

Annoyingly, not everything goes into the"bag" area. Tissues (me)and chewed up toilet roll bits (jack russell) get stuck in another chamber. Not a biggy to empty, just annoying that they don't go into the bag chamber.

On my rugs, I have to turn the suction down, yes there is a handy slide for that, or else I'll suck my rugs into the vacuum cleaner.

The power cord is long enough for me to plug in centrally and do the entire house.

It's light enough to easily drag through the many, many doorways I have. Although, another handle would have been good to be able to carry it upright (I mentioned the many doorways at my place), and I'm pretty sure carrying it by the hose is not recommended in the long run.

It's also pretty quiet for a vacuum cleaner, the dogs still freak out, but eh, dogs.

It has a slot for the hose and wand, so you don't have to lay it down while your are moving stuff, but I REALLY wish it had a similar slot for when the vacuum cleaner is up on it's butt for storage. Hose and wands are a pain in the cupboard.

Australian made Westinghouse one that literally dropped the ice maker front due to rust. It did very well so, ultimately, no complaints after 16 years. The internal space is great. Extra drawer is, legitimately, wonderful. It fits so much. Thoroughly researched at the time and the pickings are slim now. Electrolux do so much rebadging nowadays. They still actually make these fridges. It came down to this or Fisher and Paykel (i.e: Haier with a rebadge). And I’d never go near F&P again.

Also, very conscious that, in dishwasher land Electrolux went to cheap imports from Turkey and are now selling Midea Chinese units under the Westinghouse brand in Australia. So was glad to find this one is actually made by Electrolux.

I don’t really know if it will last as a fridge but the pickings are slim nowadays. In the here and now it’s great. As stated, exterior dark paint is already failing . It does keep chucking ice and seems a swift cut quality wise above the rest.

Bitterly disappointed that Electrolux is churning towards the bottom with some of their other brands. This still seems to be Electrolux quality. The same fridge can be had as a Westinghouse, the same brand can be had as an Aussie made oven: try buying a replacement for a dishwasher and, with Dishlex reliability (sigh) now gone and AEG not getting traction (you’d surely go Miele for a few bucks more at the price point), then this fridge stacks up in the space for what we paid.

Electrolux need to sort their branding in Australia. We used to rely on this brand and their family brands. Seeing some of their rebadged products has really put me off them. The fridge may be an exception. Time will tell! It was this or an LG.

The machine washes well, and opens up to let out steam at the end of the cycle, which we live but it does freak out visitors(!) Everything is dry and although it doesn't fit as much as some other models, it doesn't mind some food scraps and being jam-packed.

the options! Having the left bottom section as a choice between -17 or 7 degrees makes it perfect for parties. There is a section designed for your wine or beer bottles. Up top the shelves move up or down but they also have a neat hinge you lift so bottles can fit, without moving the shelf up. Clever design, It’s the sheer choice of what you want and it’s just there. Wine holders drop down up top. The crisper is keeping everything fresh. The snack compartment is great for berries or chocolate treats. The plumbed water and ice is a must in Queensland, the grey metal doesn’t show up finger marks. And it’s so quiet. Energy efficient 3.5 ⭐️ esp when you aren’t opening four doors. Just the one. And the doors have deep shelves. Again with a variety of options depending on your food and drink. This is a great design. The price dropped from $4k. Maybe a new one soon but I don’t care. I’m a happy new fridge owner - for the next 15 years. Highly recommend you buy before the price goes up.

run like a dream since day 1, no matter the abuse we throw at it, and trust me, during winter sports season it gets punishment! So huge it even fits our blankets, and kids doonas, meaning less dry cleaning expenses, more margarita money for me! The filter is front bottom and easy to access and clean. I made my own favourite cycle so I got what suits us, 60 deg C for the aforementioned sports uniforms (lucky this isnt smellavision) with high spin. Always get a good outcome using 0.5 cup sodium carbonate and a half dose of laundry detergent. Not too wet, dry off quickly. My only ever hiccup was a stretchy lycra top that was caught in door as it closed and spun around making a giant knot, and made machine shake. Note to self, dont overfill machine and make sure all items are away from door. You can stop machine early in cycle to add those hiding socks you always find 2 seconds after you start a load, and the vapour refresh cycle is great for suit jackets and school blazers worn by stinky kids and husbands. There is remote connection for your phone but I dont use it since am right there wrangling the laundry anyway. The spin is a bit noisy, but the rest as silent as a toddler in the makeup drawer.

I FINALLY GOT TO COMPLETE MY REVEIW. • I FIRSTLY WOULD LIKE TO PUT FORWARD THAT THIS REVEIW IS BASED ABOUT MY ELECTROLUX APPLIANCE I BOUGHT BACK… Read more

SOMETIME IN MARCH 2017. IT’s A AUSSIE REVEIW I PREPARED BEGINNING OF MARCH 2026 DURING RAMADAN &. IS FROM AUSTRALIA NSW. OKAY❗️

Once upon a time somewhere I previously resided at besides where I reside today, there i was at another area inside my house and two dogs someone oneday addressed me wearing clothes that were not properly washed and half dried, it was there concern for some time, I seemed reason for understanding but when someone who sometimes stinks, I didn’t smell others clothes sometimes stink, I would not even notice properly if the fashion i wore was inadequate or looking strange, I me a next to my pets my pets love me for who I am whatever I wear. To some others I was out of wack UNTIL one day come around, finally that day I knew surely I .was about to get myself involved in something knew and charismatic I decided to make a change and eventually bring back home a new washing machine I didn’t know yet what brand it was going to be. I decided to step out, I stepped out shopping to bring home a new washing.machine and at the time I imagined that; “if ever I had imagined my life changing for better I thought a combination washer and dryer was not possible to make that much of a change” but really when I thought about it carefully in a manner of a NUTSHELL sort of like GHOST IN A SHELL I convinced myself to bring this new machine home already, I became available to head out shopping, i finally headed out and into Harvey Norman and It was in the year 2017 I had bought home another great appliance this time being a brand “Electrolux washer and dryer” from Harvey Norman and its manufacturing business brand name is still going strong till this day too in 2026. The total price of a callout fee is: $149.00

Simple resolution to save money and remember these three steps while owning a Electrolux washer and dryer combo:; 1. filtration needs cleaning; unscrew filter cap and drain out excess clogged fluid, pull cap out of machine and clean the filter via a sink under a tap with running water, 2. before screwing filter cap back in the washer and dryer machine appliance make sure nothing else will cause a blockage, even when the filter has been cleaned, even clean where it’s got to screw back in. 3. Restart machine and you shall not see error “ERR.” anymore, the glitch in the matrix error message should be resolved now. “This three easy step surely grant the vortex machine matrix.

Outside of warranty – UPDATE AUGUST 2025. Electrolux paid for a servicing company to come and look at the oven. They managed to replace the fan cover and tap in screws in… Read more

new holes in the back of the oven. Most of the rust was on the metal fan cover and I am grateful that they could find a fix. The original screw holes are covered by the new fan cover plate, which I was worried about as they had rusted to the size of a five cent piece. The cover is slight out of square but the fan works and it doesn’t hit the cover. I presume they will continue to rust behind the fan cover but I presume I will get a few more years out of the oven, which is a good thing. I am grateful that Electrolux came to the party and found a fix as I was going to struggle replacing the oven so soon after purchasing it. Thank you Vivian for taking the time and paying for the repair. Thank you Electrolux.

UPDATE ON OVEN!! Ok, this review is important!! The oven has started to rust from the inside. I noticed a lot of rust towards the back of the oven. I unscrewed the two screws holding the fan cover and the back of the fan cover has rust all over it, the screw holes are so rusted the screws won’t go back in. It would appear that the glazing is thin/patchy as it has rusted on flat surfaces through and around the glazing. WHO MAKES A STEAM OVEN THAT CANT DEAL WITH STEAM. honestly, I think I’ve only used the steam a couple of times. Maybe it’s the pyroclean function? Either way the oven is now officially rubbish. 3-4 years and it’s done. I see they are selling these ovens for just under $2000.00. Do not waste your money and do not expect Electrolux to come to the party when I have only used their product as describe. (I’m not to sure what else you could do to not use it within specs! - I’ve only cleaned it with pyroclean when it’s told me too?).

The cracks in the enamel did not spread, mute issue, but information if anyone else has a similar issue.

We fitted out our entire kitchen and laundry Electrolux/Westinghouse products. The first oven we received was shorting itself out on the inside casing. It was replaced and the second unit has been working well. I’ve been keep up with cleaning it with the pyro cleaning as it’s been 28 months.l, and a few months past its warranty. The inside of the unit is starting to crack and I’ve rung Electrolux about the issue. They have told me is is outside of the warranty period and they can’t do anything about it. I don’t know if it is the pyro cleaning that has caused it? I should have got the extended warranty. Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

am quite happy with it's performance. It has an "Auto" setting for the suction level which provides for a reasonable run time and is effective for cleaning my floors.

On "Turbo" the suction is surprisingly strong for a stick vacuum, although on this setting run time is pretty short - perhaps 5 or 6 minutes only.

The machine is pretty quiet, it's fairly easy to use and seems well constructed.

On the minus side the vacuum (and it's wall mounted dock) are a bit bulky, and the dock is slightly awkward to position the vacuum on.

I took one star off for the fact that the self cleaning brush roll function really doesn't work. You still need to manually remove the brush roll and pull / cut away any tangled hair. At least the brush roll is easy to remove, with no tools needed (although the metal retaining spring that sits over it is hard to open and even harder to snap closed).

Overall I am quite happy with this vacuum - particularly at the price paid of $284.

Recommended.
