The scooter was deemed to have a fault with the A&B controllers and needed a replacement. After numerous attempts to get the correct controllers to have the problem fixed we are still waiting. 8 weeks is an absolute disgrace to have to wait with still no outcome. After many attempts to speak with some one, a manager the owner anyone that can help us there is always an excuse as to why we can’t speak to these people. After calling the store yet again today to simply request a refund as we are over the waiting and lack of communication from their behalf we were told they can’t issue one unless we send the scooter back at our Cost……. And have the scooter assed again for a manufactures fault, even though this has already been done at a store they requested we go to. We are at our wits end with this company and have a very upset teenager who still can’t enjoy his Christmas present. We have been left with no choice but to contact consumer affairs for assistance.

My last issue is that the battery located in the downtube fall down during my commute which almost bring me down on a very busy road, The customer service said it is because I did not lock properly the battery but it is wrong as I never take out the battery from the frame and after 3000km I believe that it would have fell down. Also the battery if not proper fitting in the tube it fell down straight away. The worst is that on their website one of the customer send some pictures of the bike with an additional strap around the battery to prevent it to fell down.

Read morea couple of days only to receive an email from [Name Removed] in customer service that there was a “stock error” and that I would be getting a refund.
So you can see my surprise when I go on their website and see the same fork relisted and in stock, but at a higher price point (well above what you would find in other online retailers btw).
Pushys is under no obligation to sell a product if it is incorrectly priced. It is however deceptive to then label this as a “stock error” where there is clearly stock available.
I would warn everyone in purchasing from Pushys and I certainly will be looking elsewhere for my purchases from now on.

I opted for the optional upgrades on the motor and it handles my 105Kg 6'3"body no problem. I commute to work each day, 27km each way, the charge is not quite enough to get me return trip (just), but I will be getting a 2nd charger and will charge at work for the trip home. The route I take has a few hills, 130mtrs of climb typically, I average around 35kph for the trip. Off road its amazing - rarely do I get out of assist level 1, and I switch it off all together for approx. 40% of any ride. Comfortably get 50km, including a 6 km leg from home to the trail head. Get to an incline on power assist 1 and it feels like a jet pack pushing up up the hill, great fun! Highly recommend!!

I have dealt with so many other battery / ebike people in the hope of getting a battery all of who just said no and hung up. This company has a crack at trying to help customers and I would much rather support a bloke having a good honest go. THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND.

To my surprise nobody was there, the place loomed abandoned. So I sent an email saying that I was there. Waited until 9:30am, nobody showed up so I sent another email saying that I was giving up and wanted a refund. Today is Thursday and haven’t received a response yet. Not sure why velogear don’t have a phone number.
Don’t recommend their store to anyone. If I could I would give negative stars.
Hopefully someone from velogear will read this review and find a solution to my problem.

Do not buy through this companyI bought a bike from this store in March23. It cost over $2000. At first they sent me the wrong keys (with the bike) meaning that I cannot charge the battery because I can’t unlock it. They then sent me another set of keys. W... Read morerong keys again. Then they said they couldn’t find the keys for my bike and suggested I call a locksmith.
I have asked them repeatedly to rectify this. A month ago they said that a local bike shop to me will fix it once they get the right parts.
It’s been crickets. No phone calls. No attempt to fix the issue. They haven’t followed up with my local store to try and get it fixed.
Still can’t charge the battery.
I’ve asked for them to collect the bike and give me a refund. They have refused.
They have said “I can ride the bike without the battery”. So I bought a $2000 push bike.
They have also refused to call me to discuss this issue, insisting they can only communicate with me via email, despite me asking them repeatedly to call me.
Be careful. If they make a mistake, they are not responsive in a timely manner to fix it.

I have not had any big issues with the bike and recently had a problem with the bike not powering up that I needed help with. Even though ... Read morethe electrical system and battery were not still under warranty the support that I received from their warranty and customer service department was outstanding. I first flagged my issue to them via their website and to my surprise received an email reply within half an hour. I exchanged several emails with them and all of the replies were received within an hour of sending my email queries or questions. Once they determined that I needed to take the bike to a service technician for a diagnosis of the problem they got back to me with their closest recommended repairer who I contacted and booked the bike in for the following day. I dropped the bike off on a lunchtime Friday and received a call from the shop at 10 am Monday indicating that the bike had been repaired and was ready to be collected. The issue was only a loose wire in the control unit and was very expensive to fix. Reef Bikes Australia should applauded for the way it handled my repair issue and the efficiency in the way the bike was repaired and back on the road. Well Done Reefbikes.
