CONS: They try really hard to get you to join their "customer tracking club" and have incentives like 2 tier pricing, that can be up to thousands of dollars difference. They currently have the Bunnings strategy to take over the whole Australia bike market and push out the little stores. They basically sell the same online stock but with their markup prices, for example the same $3 plastic bike mirror from ebay they sell it for $30. If you have time look online at "local" ebay sellers before you buy from them.

couldn’t put the dropper post in because the cable couldn’t move, and the bike wouldn’t turn on. Was advised to take it to the local bike shop (30min away) they quoted $300 to fix it. Bikes online then said if I want to speed things up to pack the bike up in the original box. It would then be picked up, and they would then send out a new replacement bike when they got confirmation from the courier. There has been over 60 emails sent back and forth, they just keep lying to me. I still haven’t got it, worst online experience. Would never by a bike online agin

I couldn't even get a price let along confirmation they have the part. If I could give less than 1 star I would. calling places gave me no joy whatsoever. Until I found this company. I was able to find the exact one we needed. Being overwhelmed I bought it without a problem until I realised I had forgotten to fill in my street name. Panic set in and I emailed the company immediately not expecting much. They answered swiftly and corrected my mistake. The only but serious thing was with the couriers. I had counted down the days for delivery until the last day and decided to call the company as my Norton security wouldn't allow me to download these couriers so I was unable to track it. After my email was prompt to say it had been delivered. My flatmate went to check it out and it had been left on my doorstep. phoned to organise a pick up to collect the replacement helmet and when I arrived I was completely ignored in the showroom for 45 minutes. Multiple male customers were attended to.

The scooter is great. It has so much power it spins the wheels when you take off. The transport company Allied express are hopless they were two weeks late and could not tell me when it was.

troubleshooting assistance at the time. The issue later reoccurred and never went away .

Cap Rouge advised they could not assist further due to the age of the battery, the fact it was not returned during the original warranty period, and because the pack had since been opened for inspection. They offered a $100 discount toward a replacement battery.

While I appreciate the responses provided, I was disappointed a more substantial repair or goodwill solution could not be reached given the original fault history and cost of the battery. Distance and lithium battery freight practicality were also factors in not pursuing the matter further.

They offered $50 for the paint chips and decals but that money was never sent to his bank. They sent some pedals but they look like they've been in someone's back shed for a decade - corroded! Apparently, according to customer service department the warehouse couldn't find it, then 2 weeks later they thought they had found it and told me I would be updated. Still nothing. No proactive updates and not one word of apology. Nothing short of useless. I'm actually enjoying the bike that was delivered. specialist started by questioning my reasons for purchasing an electric bike. My aim was to do cycle tracks, nothing off road, but wanted the ease of taking my bike in the car without having to do too much lifting. (E-bikes can be heavy). When he suggested the Avanti foldable I hadn’t given it any thought. But after a quick ride, and checking out the specs I was sold. Came with lights, carrier, stand and central hub. The 20 inch wheels make it easy to ride. Folded easily to fit in my wagon. Since getting back on a bike, and figuring out how to use, I’m really hooked. I’ve ridden gravel roads and tracks as well as sealed roads. Handles steep hills and feels safe even going down hill at 40kmh. My longest ride so far was 30km including hills and gravel. Battery still showing 80%. So if you are looking to get an e-bike don’t overlook the Avanti Foldster, with Shimano battery and drive. So much more convenient and rides just like a full size bike.
