deadlines were missed, and we were constantly chasing updates with little to no response. What was promised during the sales process was very different from what was actually delivered.

The level of professionalism was extremely disappointing. Issues that should have been resolved quickly were ignored or dragged out, leaving us frustrated and out of pocket. Rather than taking responsibility and providing solutions, it felt like we were being brushed aside once the contract was signed.

The workmanship and customer service fell well below an acceptable standard. We expected honesty, reliability, and support for a major investment, but instead experienced delays, excuses, and a complete lack of accountability.

Looking back, choosing Watts Up Solar and Electrical was a costly mistake. We would never use them again and strongly caution anyone considering their services to do extensive research before signing anything. There are far better companies out there that actually value their customers and stand behind their work.

UPDATE I've now taken a star off my initial 5 star review. The electrician who attended was 5 stars but the Certificate of Electrical Safety wasn't issued within a month as it should've been. It took over 6 weeks and some chasing up which isn't ideal. The people I spoke to on the phone were nice but no one called me back to follow up. After another call and email the COES was supplied that day. While all this was a bit of a hassle, I was happy with the actual job.

However, I was extremely concerned by the price charged. My parents are both in their 90s and are full pensioners. One of them is legally blind and is unable to read documents, while the other would have found it difficult to fully understand the detail and implications of a complex quotation.

In these circumstances, I believe considerably more care and transparency should have been exercised when presenting and agreeing the cost of the work. The final price was, in my view, highly excessive for the work undertaken, and I am left with the strong impression that my parents were placed at a significant disadvantage.

It is particularly disappointing because the workmanship itself was good. Had the pricing been reasonable and proportionate, I would have had no hesitation in recommending the firm.

I would urge anyone considering using this company, particularly when arranging work on behalf of elderly or vulnerable family members, to obtain a detailed written quotation, make sure the costs are fully understood, and seek an independent comparison before agreeing to the work.

He went the extra mile and even though the oven was heavy and awkward he would not allow me to help him as he was worried about my safety. I'm so grateful to Zen and his team. EOC have previously replaced over 90 smoke detectors at my retirement village without fuss and no recalls. Pricing is always fair and reasonable.
