I've never engaged with a company before to reseal our bathroom, we noticed a water leak and lots of mould, and I was a bit uncertain how the whole process was going to be like. My only gripe, and the only reason for three stars instead of five, was that I experienced a complete "fob-off" by the Production Manager when I tried to obtain after-sales service. He simply didn't want to know and other than trying to have me fix it myself, didn't seem to want to help at all. I would still recommend Australian Outdoor Living for roller shutters but I would warn potential buyers not to expect too much if they need help after installation.

Windows and sliding doors replaced most efficiently. Consultant Michael gave excellent advice and Shayne installed all windows and doors in one day. A really outstanding result...Can't believe the visual improvement to our unit.

special paint etc and the roof wouldn’t need attention for years.

After the job was done, the paint they applied was thinnly applied. Totally different to what I expected. Further our roof, which never leaked, developed a leak. Credit to the local contractor who came out and tarped the leak and eventually fixed it, however now I know a leak was made and am constantly on edge when we have rain.

The local contractor was obliging.

Since that time our roof started going back to a mouldy look. I personally feel they used a crap paint and was applied thinly.

Biggest problem with Roof Seal, is now they no longer have any contract in Cairns numerous calls to their office in Townsville and numerous promises that they would be attending, nothing left holding the bag so to speak

I do not recommend roof seal, I was l lulled into believing that they were a professional outfit and as their name suggests seals the roof. All they are a contractor painters that work under that banner and the company themselves don’t do anything to address concerns and no follow-up.

If you’re looking at getting your roof painted, I would suggest scour a local Painter. I would never use roof seal again and especially if you’re in Cairns there is no one here that works under that banner.

I’ve spoken to a local Painter that said my roof does need repainting although it was only done approximately three or four years ago

forceful, arrogant and a liar. He takes ‘allowances’ for extra trades saying he will refund that money if not used - he then refuses to do so. Once he has your money - which has to be paid in full before the job starts (isn’t that illegal?) he won’t respond to phone calls, texts, or emails. We ended up taking him to DBDRV to get our money back - he treated them as poorly as he treated us. If you need a wardrobe you will get a reasonable end result from this company but make sure you have no dealings with Peter!

you trust the design capabilities of the company you choose and that they have the skills and attention to detail that’s needed.

This is the greatest lesson I've learned after undertaking 3rd kitchen renovations.

Granite Transformations was abosrbed by Shore Renovations, so it's a whole new team these days and the team at Shore Renovations impressed me from the very start.

They were easy to deal with, design savy, they were there when they said they would be and addressed any issues or concerns immediately.

They even provided advice on ways to reduce the cost without compromising the result.

I would rehire them in a heartbeat.

NSW AND no matter how many times you set your preferred position for the louvres as soon as it rains and the rain sensor operates the system resets to a default opening position of 30 degrees). The absolute worst part of owning a vergola product is the so called "customer service". Well over a week and three phone calls to get a call back and then no capacity to do anything about my request to be able to set the louvres at my preferred position because "that's the way we've been doing things for decades". Seriously unless you are in NSW which is a separate company consider other alternatives before engaging with this organisation and consider carefully your tech needs before being hide bound by their blunt (as opposed to cutting) edge offering.

had a few customisations on the length that they were able to accommodate easily. I choose the Karla Semi-recessed which was great for my smaller downstairs bathroom. Once again so happy with the outcome.

We have had a Resift for 14 years. While it has mostly been functional the after sales service has been appalling - the worst we have ever experienced. We would not recommend Resift.

chimney cleaned and fireplace assessed, tried changing wood and layout of logs, it’s useless. The design is the problem it’s too wide and not deep enough with little to no draft to suck the smoke away. Terrible and would never even consider a jet master if I was building. I will be replacing this fireplace next year with a proper fireplace.
