and avoidant that nothing is worth that much. You're better off going to a panel beater and paying $200 for one small collection of issues. Also your dealership will not take responsibility and act like they don't know you. They will not honour multiple issues and they do not have a fixed location. If you're anything rural/out of the CBD, you will not be heard by their team.

I was considering buying. Unfortunately, during the inspection, the vehicle was externally damaged.
RedBook Inspect did acknowledge responsibility for the damage and agreed to cover the cost of repairing the vehicle, which I appreciate. However, my experience with the handling of the claim afterwards has been extremely disappointing.
I was asked to obtain quotes for a hire vehicle while the repair process was being organised. After providing the requested information, I was later advised that my claim for hire vehicle costs would be refused. This means that, despite RedBook Inspect accepting responsibility for causing the damage, I would be left out of pocket for the cost of alternative transport during the estimated four-day repair period.
I believe this is an important consideration for anyone booking a vehicle inspection. A vehicle inspection is intended to provide confidence and peace of mind, but if damage occurs during the inspection process, customers should be aware that the company’s responsibility may be limited to the direct repair costs only.
I would encourage anyone considering using this company to carefully read the terms and conditions before booking an inspection. Although the company may cover the cost of repairing damage they cause, there may be limitations around other losses or expenses that occur as a result.
I would also suggest that anyone selling a vehicle carefully considers whether they are comfortable having their vehicle inspected by this company. A vehicle inspection should provide confidence to both buyers and sellers, and damage occurring during an inspection can create a very stressful situation for everyone involved.
Another concern was that RedBook Inspect did not handle the matter through insurance, meaning I was required to deal directly with the company rather than through an insurance process. This left me navigating the consequences of an incident that was not my fault.
Overall, while I acknowledge that RedBook Inspect accepted responsibility for the physical damage, the way the claim has been managed afterwards has left me disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not choose to use this service again and would recommend others carefully consider the potential risks before booking an inspection.

minute, popped back with a rotating tool and made the damage virtually disappear in a couple of minutes. While fixing it up and assuring me it wouldn’t rust (my main concern) he suggested that would be sufficient as I park my car outside. He did quote for a full respray when prompted and if I ever change my mind, I’ll be back. Thanks for putting a smile on my face.

worker told me that someone had already fixed the crack previously. It was done recently and it was most likely that I'd just noticed it, instead of it getting bigger. He said in his oppinion the work was done very well and he did not need to do anything. He insisted on not touching it. He could've easily asked me to come back and taken my money but he didn't. If the window cracks in future and I believe the above is not longer true, I will remove this review. So if you are reading this, the honesty of this company still stands, and is of high integrity. I highly recommend.

actually a bit shook up. He suggested I call Melbourne Collission Centre at Mentone as he had a great experience previously. I called their number, they picked up within a few rings and spoke to a 'real' person. They were great, they put me at ease straight away and to be quite frank, simply took control of the situation on my behalf. I was provided with a 4WD hire car similar to mine, newer model actually, in around 50 minutes! I still find that service amazing to this day. Throughout the process I was given weekly updates, sometimes twice a week, with images of my car showing works being done, the overall progress even when inspections were being done. All this helped reduce the stress of it all. And when all was done, the car was delivered to my home just after 6pm when I get home and it is just perfect! If you too end up in the wrong place at the wrong time like me don't hesitate to call Melbourne Collision Repair Centre Mentone they take care of everything. Simply first class.

a second time due to poor workmanship, a friend recommended that I go and talk to Kelly at Tint-A-Car in Osborne Park – and am I glad that I did! Kelly not only welcomes you into her office like an old friend but takes customer service to a whole new level in educating you about what to expect from your tint and assisting you with your choice.
Apart from finding contaminants yet again under my existing film applied by the other business, I had also realised after nearly having an accident on the freeway at night that the film was too dark to allow clear night-time visibility. Kelly was immediately concerned about the safety issue, to the extent of offering me a time slot the following day in what was obviously her busy week to have the tint removed and replaced, as well as spending a long time discussing what had happened and the different options for a lighter (and safer) replacement film. So I felt very confident that I had come to the right place.
When I dropped my car off the following week to have the tinting job done, Kelly once again went the extra mile to ensure that I would be happy with the tint VLT level, to the extent of asking Max to actually apply offcuts of two different films to one of my car’s windows so that I could see the difference in VLT before application. She also suggested that I sit in her own car so that I could see how a different tint level looked in real life. All this took quite a long time, but I was never made to feel as if I was a nuisance. Kelly is so incredibly patient and determined to do the right thing by her customer to ensure their complete satisfaction with the finished job, regardless of how long it takes.
My new Spectre ceramic tint (45 VLT all round) is perfect. Visibility when driving at night presents no problem at all now and my car looks great. Additionally, I was treated like royalty despite this not being a huge amount of money spent, and even given a voucher for a free coffee at the lovely Micrology coffee shop up the road while I waited. All up, this was a wonderful experience. I will be recommending Tint-A-Car Osborne Park and particularly Kelly to everyone I know requiring car window tinting.

He listened to my problem and then sourced an appropriate replacement tyre and organised a courier service to deliver it 40kms to Goolwa.
