working. The compressor warranty is ten years so I’d like to know if the fault is the compressor, in which case I’m covered by warranty. If it’s not the compressor then sadly I’m out of warranty.

The fridge has “Smart Diagnosis” which can send audio sounds to the LG ThinQ app that the app interprets and then tells you what’s wrong. Which is one of the features that attracted me to this fridge. However, now that the app has been updated for WiFi connected fridges, it’s impossible to add my “analog” fridge to the list of products so that the Smart Diagnosis function can work.

I’ve now spoken to three call centre support staff. The first two hung up on me. The third one “doesn’t know” and will get back to me. She kept telling me to just hold the phone near the fridge - which didn’t work. Her internal support team also don’t know and have suggested I get a technician to come out - but my point is, that without the error code (that would be provided presumably by the Smart Diagnosis function), I don’t know if it’s worth it.

I’m short, LG appear to have removed an advertised function from my fridge retrospectively and I’m supposed to be ok with that.

This is ludicrous customer service (both the call centre and the app) and is clearly designed so that you buy a new fridge. I DEFINITELY won’t be buying an LG!!! In fact I am so frustrated, that I’ll never buy LG anything ever again.

The keypad is user friendly and intuitive, it only takes a few minutes to familiarize oneself with the functions. The black matte surface somehow deflects grease and dust building up. Nice to have a door handle instead of the push-in button. Highly recommend this one.

All in all, it’s reliable and does exactly what you expect from an LG microwave. Solid appliance with good performance, and I love the little beep when it’s finished!

for a month now waiting for LG to approve a warranty claim, even though I have provided a purchase invoice for proof of purchase. Products not made to last these days, for products to fail in less than 3 years and at that price point they are not value for money. Plus I left feedback recently on an LG inverter microwave recently that lasted less than this dishwasher, they were both purchased at a similar time when we moved house, so clearly I think it is a good idea to start to avoid all LG products, clearly not up to standard.

opening has a st^pid white cone that is too small (size of a rice). Cut that off and the water will drain normally. Fluff and lint gets caught in it.

warranty ended. Followed troubleshooting and contacted LG support who wanted to initiate a service call. This expensive fridge was purchased to replace a fridge that failed. The LG fridge was not purchased by choice but out of necessity as there was a major shortage of appliances at the time due to shipping difficulties. We paid more than we were prepared to pay as a result. I am in awe of LGs ability to design an appliance that fails so soon after the warranty ended. I feel that to pay $$$$ to fix this piece of junk is money that could be spent on a more reliable appliance. In future I will give LG a very wide berth. Product is designed to fail. Junk junk junk.

complained to LG and the response i received that it was not a warranty fault but user error, even though we regularly ran the drum cycle (more than recommended), the photos are of the seal that i replaced, the brown paste (scrud, LG called it) , is impossible to clean, as it is behind the seal, which you don't have access to, so cannot clean. Even replacing the seal wash a mission (i am quite handy), you have to nearly dismantle the whole machine, i have never had this issue with any other washing machine design, and would definitely not recommend to buy an LG machine, and the support was not helpful and basically said it was not covered under warranty even though we used it as recommended.

The pointer control button breaks with normal usage, rendering that function useless, especially as it is also the OK button for all functions.. I have had two remotes fail. The first was replaced via JB Hifi after a long wait.. The second time JB Hifi refused to act and, after 2 months of follow-ups by us (nothing from them) wanted to sell us a replacement. It is a common and known fault and complaints are widely published. Unfortunately neither JB Hifi or LG want to accept accountability for poor design and hardware deficiency. The remote control is key to TV enjoyment, so I would not recommend any LG TV product that uses the MR25GA remote. It is rubbish.

burnt smell. Although the microwave is still working, I’m concerned about its safety and durability.

We clean the microwave regularly using only wet towels, without any harsh chemicals. It’s disappointing to experience this issue after just over two years of use, especially when the appliance has been properly maintained.

I contacted LG to ask whether the issue was covered under warranty and requested an inspection or repair. However, I received no update for more than two weeks until I followed up myself. I was then informed that the troubleshooting team had classified it as a “non-manufacturing fault,” without a clear explanation of what caused the damage or the burnt smell.

I find both the product quality and customer service disappointing. I expected better durability from a well-known brand like LG, as well as a more thorough and transparent response when raising a potential safety concern.

Based on this experience, I would hesitate to purchase LG appliances again or recommend them to others.

Ridiculously poor performance. Expect a minimum hour wash, or expect nothing gets washed at all. Add in some cumbersome controls, poor app design and a lack of custom settings. A pure waste of money.

Recently, the water dispenser has completely stopped working. For a fridge in this price range, I find it unacceptable that such a basic and important feature can simply stop functioning after only a relatively short period of ownership.

What is even more frustrating is being told that I need to turn the fridge off for more than two days to determine whether the water line has iced up.

Seriously, LG — what am I supposed to do with all the food inside my fridge and freezer for two days? Am I expected to risk losing hundreds of dollars worth of groceries just to troubleshoot a water dispenser?

This is supposed to be one of LG's premium models, featuring a plumbed ice and water dispenser, InstaView and other high-end features. I didn't purchase a budget fridge, and I certainly didn't expect to be dealing with this kind of issue within the first year.

I am now seriously questioning my decision to purchase LG when I could have chosen the Electrolux instead.

A fridge should be reliable, and when a simple feature such as a water dispenser stops working, there should be a practical way to diagnose and repair it without putting the customer's food at risk.

At this stage, I cannot recommend the LG GS-V600MBLC. I expected much better from a premium appliance and from LG.

The compressor has now been replaced twice, and I was told at the last repair session that the coolant system is ‘contaminated’. Whatever that means. I just want to LG to confirm that it can’t be repaired.

The extended warranty purchased from AO was worthless, as apparently it does not cover coolant defects. So beware of both this fridge and extended warranties that give you no real cover when you need it.

LG really should be held to account for this dodgy product, and my complaint will be going to the regulator also, not just here. A fridge that cost what it did should last longer than 4.5 years. This is a product that is not fit for purpose. LG should be penalised for selling it.

well…because I need to regularly wash bedding and a family’s worth of laundry. From the beginning clothes never came out well spun (in the electroluxe they were practically dry)… they are always water logged, that’s if the spin cycle even works. It often comes up with an error message when it comes to the spin cycle… it tells me to re-balance the load… but this rarely rectifies the problem and just shows me the message over and over and I have washing sitting in the machine for hours because I can’t babysit the machine and make sure it works every time I try. reviews at the time of purchase. When I purchased this refrigerator I purchased an extra 5 years of warranty. This refrigerator ceased to work 17 days ago. A code of E FF was appearing. A claim was made to the Good Guys and given the code. A service person came to look at the refrigerator and said he really did not need to come out as because I had given the code he knew exactly what was wrong and could have ordered the replacement parts, but had to view the refrigerator and raise a purshase order. Parts were due 6 days ago but have had no word. There does not seem to be any urgency to fix the issue. I have lost hundreds of dollars of food as well. This is a major fault of the refrigerator and if I had known this I would have purchased a different model.

load can take all day, and even after running for hours the clothes are still damp. The water collector is often completely empty, which makes me question whether it is even extracting moisture properly. Ive tried different dryer settings and still the same.

I’ve already had the dryer looked at by LG maintenance, but unfortunately the issues have continued. For how expensive this dryer was, I’m incredibly disappointed. If it hadn’t cost so much, I would have gotten rid of it a long time ago.

The matching washing machine is not quite as bad, but I still have issues with clothes coming out with an unpleasant smell, despite doing tub cleans and thoroughly cleaning the machine myself.
