would provide years of reliable service. Unfortunately, I am now disappointed with my purchase.
Recently, the water dispenser has completely stopped working. For a fridge in this price range, I find it unacceptable that such a basic and important feature can simply stop functioning after only a relatively short period of ownership.
What is even more frustrating is being told that I need to turn the fridge off for more than two days to determine whether the water line has iced up.
Seriously, LG — what am I supposed to do with all the food inside my fridge and freezer for two days? Am I expected to risk losing hundreds of dollars worth of groceries just to troubleshoot a water dispenser?
This is supposed to be one of LG's premium models, featuring a plumbed ice and water dispenser, InstaView and other high-end features. I didn't purchase a budget fridge, and I certainly didn't expect to be dealing with this kind of issue within the first year.
I am now seriously questioning my decision to purchase LG when I could have chosen the Electrolux instead.
A fridge should be reliable, and when a simple feature such as a water dispenser stops working, there should be a practical way to diagnose and repair it without putting the customer's food at risk.
At this stage, I cannot recommend the LG GS-V600MBLC. I expected much better from a premium appliance and from LG.
LG, this is not good.
Great picture quality and good value for the size and quality of TV. It's the first LG TV I've owned and I find the menu options could be a bit more intuitive.

would be a game changing appliance for our busy family. While it promised a lot, it delivered a little. Wash cycles upwards of 3 hours, and despite the steam option, it wouldn't clean soft peanut butter off spoons. Less than 8 months after purchase, it got worse. The machine started cutting out mid-wash and after we tried a number of basic troubleshooting options (clearing the drain, cleaning the filter, unplugging from the wall - leaving for a few minutes and plugging in again), nothing changed. No error codes, no warnings, the app was useless.
I reported the fault with the retailer in July and the experience since then has been extremely disappointing. After lodging the issue, I was told the repair had been assigned to an authorised service centre — but despite multiple follow‑ups, the repairer never received the required part. They advised me directly that the part was on backorder and that LG wasn’t responding to their attempts to secure it, suggesting I contact LG myself to try to get things moving.
When I contacted LG, I was told the part had been ordered weeks earlier but still had no ETA. Days later, LG advised the part wouldn’t be available until mid‑September — more than seven weeks after the fault was first reported. Only after pushing back did LG offer a replacement or refund, but even that approval has been slow and still remains unresolved.
We purchased a new appliance expecting reliability and support. Instead, we’ve been left without a functioning dishwasher for nearly two months, with poor communication, long delays, and no sense of urgency from anyone involved. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had with a major brand. Never again buying LG!

on their website), but we received a small discount through LG. In hindsight, that felt like a big mistake, as we assumed we were getting a better deal on a premium appliance. We expected a straightforward delivery and installation experience. Instead, the entire experience has been incredibly disappointing.
The purchase included delivery, installation and removal of our old dryer.
On delivery day, the delivery team brought the new dryer inside but did not install it and did not remove our old dryer. They left the new dryer sitting there and walked out. We assumed they had gone back to their vehicle to get the tools required to install it. Instead, they got into their vehicle and drove away.
When we contacted LG to find out what had happened, we were told that the delivery notes stated that we had agreed to install the dryer ourselves and that we didn't have an old dryer to be removed.
This was completely untrue.
We had not agreed to install it ourselves and we absolutely did have an old dryer that was included for removal. We then had to spend the next two days contacting LG and DHL to get this sorted out and arrange for the delivery team to return, remove our old dryer and actually install the new one.
Eventually, the dryer was installed.
Then we turned it on.
The drum doesn't spin.
So after spending $1,549 on a brand-new dryer, dealing with a failed delivery and installation, having to chase LG and DHL for two days, and finally getting the appliance installed, we discovered that the brand-new dryer is faulty and cannot actually be used.
We contacted LG again and were told that someone would contact us within two business days to examine the machine.
Of course, this happened on a Friday, so we're now potentially waiting until Monday or Tuesday just to get a call about a brand-new appliance that should have worked immediately.
And this is where my confidence in LG really disappears. Given how difficult it was to get the original delivery and installation corrected, I have very little confidence that this will be resolved quickly. We have already had to repeatedly chase LG over something that should never have been a problem in the first place.
At this point, I don't even want this dryer anymore. I don't want a $1,549 brand-new appliance that has already required a service investigation before we've even been able to use it. I wanted a new dryer that worked.
And then there is LG's review system
I initially submitted a detailed review of this experience directly on the LG Australia website. Rather than publish it, LG rejected the review and told me that it did not meet their review guidelines.
The review was a genuine account of my experience. It contained no abuse, threats, personal information or irrelevant material. It simply explained what happened with the delivery, the incorrect delivery notes, the two-day delay getting the installation corrected, and the fact that the brand-new dryer doesn't work.
I contacted LG and asked them to identify which specific review guideline my review breached. I also raised my concern about the selective publication of reviews and the ACCC guidance regarding businesses suppressing genuine negative reviews.
I have not been given a satisfactory explanation as to what part of my factual review supposedly breached their guidelines.
This is particularly concerning when LG's website displays customer reviews and an overall star rating, giving potential customers the impression that they are seeing a representative picture of customer experiences.
Bottom line
This has been an unacceptable experience for a $1,549 appliance.
❌ Delivery was not completed as arranged.❌ Our old dryer was not removed.❌ The delivery record incorrectly stated that we had agreed to install the dryer ourselves and had no old dryer for removal.❌ It took two days of chasing LG and DHL to get the installation and removal corrected.❌ The brand-new dryer does not work because the drum doesn't spin.❌ We are now waiting for LG to arrange an assessment.❌ LG has refused to publish my genuine negative review on its own website.
I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this dryer think twice before purchasing it. A premium price should come with a premium product and customer service experience. Unfortunately, our experience with LG has been the complete opposite.
I would not buy this dryer again and, based on our experience, I cannot recommend it to anyone.
Update: it is Tuesday the following week, past 4.30 pm, we are yet to receive any calls from an LG technician.

The pointer control button breaks with normal usage, rendering that function useless, especially as it is also the OK button for all functions.. I have had two remotes fail. The first was replaced via JB Hifi after a long wait.. The second time JB Hifi refused to act and, after 2 months of follow-ups by us (nothing from them) wanted to sell us a replacement. It is a common and known fault and complaints are widely published. Unfortunately neither JB Hifi or LG want to accept accountability for poor design and hardware deficiency. The remote control is key to TV enjoyment, so I would not recommend any LG TV product that uses the MR25GA remote. It is rubbish.

disappointing because the size of the barrel isn't as big as I thought it would be. Which makes me question the legitimacy of some reviews.
I washed a queen quilted blanket, washed it on the duvet cycle and when I took it out the middle was dry. This was obvious as it being grey I can see and feel the dry patch, so I had to wash it twice! Very annoying.
To get the washing started it's a little tricky to get the hang of at first. It takes a few buttons to click and the washing setting always resets. I like that it comes with an app and you get notifications when your washing is completed, track how much power the washer uses, and has a diagnose program in case there are issues, and it tracks when it's due for tub cleans. Would have been 5 stars if it was bigger.
Another issue is, there is no option to select water level. I think it automatically levels it.
However, it looks nice, mostly quiet, and whole washer inside has a light that turns on before washing starts and when its completed, which makes it feel really modern. Glad I got it on sale because I would be a lot more disappointed if I paid full price.
My 5.5 washer top loader easily fit a queen blanket so having 10kg that has a small drum is frustrating.

The visual design is a big improvement over previous models. It looks more traditional and sleek, as opposed to the minimalist, flat design of the previous versions.
The agitation can get quite intense for an impeller washer, which is great for cleaning heavily soiled clothes. It doesn't get everything tangled up, as long as you sort your load properly.
My only major issue is with the delicate cycle options. There are currently two cycles with an agitation level low enough to safely clean clothing you want to last, Delicate and the downloadable Lingerie cycle. The problem is that you can only set these cycles to cold, and you cannot manually adjust the spin time. Because of this, clothes come out soaking wet when the cycle finishes.
I understand that for the most delicate clothing, these settings are ideal. However, for less delicate clothes, I need a cycle that has the same gentle agitation but with the option to change the water temperature and increase the spin time.
The WTX3-09W is a great washer, but I cannot fully recommend it unless LG adds a delicate downloadable cycle that unlocks these features.

compressor on our LG fridge stop working. This particular fridge has a compressor warranty of 10 years which is displayed on the door of the fridge. Contacted LG… nothing after 4-5 attempts. Then after another call I was forwarded to their service agent. Booked a call and was advised of the cost to book and have an agent assess the issue. Service agent arrives and advises after 1 minute that the compressor has seized up. Ok all good as it’s under warranty so this will be fixed under that very same warranty. Nope! He explains that the compressor is covered however in order to install the compressor another part has to be replaced at over $200 at the same time. This was mandatory and labour would also be charged along with the call out fee. This was now totalling up to $1000 for a warranty claim. The service guy was nice but even he looked like he hated telling customers this. This warranty from LG is a total scam. Looking at the ACCC cases against LG in the past I find that there are many. As consumers how have we come to this point where we are forced to accept such poor warranties and service from these large appliance manufacturers. This is a disgrace and the major retailers have the power to pull these companies into line by refusing to stock their products unless mandatory criteria is met on warranty. So poor was LG in their service, the retailer had to refund the service call when we complained as they knew the practices were against consumer law. I know the accc read these posts so it’s well and truly time to crack this company and others on the knuckles and make sure certain standards are met. Never again LG as you are a disgraceful company and should not be allowed sell your products in Australia.

multiple repair attempts. Since purchase, the unit has had several serious issues. One of the machines leaked shortly after use and required repair. The second unit developed a faulty control panel, which caused a noticeable delay when selecting settings. This was also repaired. However, further issues have continued. The machine began beeping continuously throughout cycles, and on occasion the display would turn off while the beeping continued and the cycle failed to complete properly. This has already been repaired more than once, yet the problem persists. Most recently, despite another repair visit, the machine is still beeping constantly during operation. Firstly the technician had no idea what he was there to fix. Asked me for a video of the issue even though I explained it to him multiple times. And video recordings were sent when we lodged the repair with LG. He opened the top of the machine and he tightened some things. The technician advised that if the machine overheats, it should not be used for two days to allow it to reset. I find this explanation unacceptable, as a washing machine should not require extended downtime after normal use, nor should it exhibit ongoing faults after multiple repairs. He also told me they would charge me to come out to repair normally. This machine has been faulty from the date of purchase. At this point, the product has not performed reliably at any stage, despite repeated servicing. The issues appear to be persistent and unresolved rather than isolated faults. Given the number of failures and unsuccessful repair attempts, I am requesting that the matter be escalated and that you provide a suitable resolution. This should include either a replacement unit or a full remedy under consumer warranty obligations. I would appreciate a prompt response outlining the next steps.
