well…because I need to regularly wash bedding and a family’s worth of laundry. From the beginning clothes never came out well spun (in the electroluxe they were practically dry)… they are always water logged, that’s if the spin cycle even works. It often comes up with an error message when it comes to the spin cycle… it tells me to re-balance the load… but this rarely rectifies the problem and just shows me the message over and over and I have washing sitting in the machine for hours because I can’t babysit the machine and make sure it works every time I try. Hate this machine!

water across my floor (creating a constant slip hazard for my family), the door is rusting out, and it's now growing mold, which is a serious respiratory and health concern.
I’ve tried doing the right thing by going through your standard customer support, but I am being completely blown off. I was actually told in writing that a rusting, leaking, mold-producing fridge is "not a product failure."
Under Australian Consumer Law, products must be of "acceptable quality," safe, and fit for purpose. A fridge that causes slipping hazards and grows mold fails all three.
I need this escalated to someone with the authority to resolve this immediately before someone gets hurt, or my next steps are formal complaints to the ACCC and Consumer and Business Services (CBS).

Bosch it replaced. It washes stuff, mostly well, and that's all good, but there's no cutlery drawer, which is handy if you have just fed a lot of people, as it means you can use the basket space for more dishes, and you have nicely spread cutlery to get properly cleaned. And then there's the main issue - in LESS than 2 years the cutlery basket has cracked, and before the 3 year mark the bottom dropped out of the main 2 areas of the basket, leaving only little spots to put all my cutlery, which means handwashing most nights - and I bought a dishwasher to wash this stuff for me! I approached LG about it, they asked for pics, and then ignored me. Didn't even bother to respond, or even advise me where I could purchase a new basket. I have nearly everything LG in my house, but I can assure you, from this lack of decency in service, I will NOT buy any more LG ever again.

easy to navigate and is fine for front-on viewing. The major issue is that the remote control is rubbish. The pointer control button breaks with normal usage, rendering that function useless, especially as it is also the OK button for all functions.. I have had two remotes fail. The first was replaced via JB Hifi after a long wait.. The second time JB Hifi refused to act and, after 2 months of follow-ups by us (nothing from them) wanted to sell us a replacement. It is a common and known fault and complaints are widely published. Unfortunately neither JB Hifi or LG want to accept accountability for poor design and hardware deficiency. The remote control is key to TV enjoyment, so I would not recommend any LG TV product that uses the MR25GA remote. It is rubbish.

complained to LG and the response i received that it was not a warranty fault but user error, even though we regularly ran the drum cycle (more than recommended), the photos are of the seal that i replaced, the brown paste (scrud, LG called it) , is impossible to clean, as it is behind the seal, which you don't have access to, so cannot clean. Even replacing the seal wash a mission (i am quite handy), you have to nearly dismantle the whole machine, i have never had this issue with any other washing machine design, and would definitely not recommend to buy an LG machine, and the support was not helpful and basically said it was not covered under warranty even though we used it as recommended.

Finally got to speak to a person who said that they would get a technician to contact me within a further two business days. I have no idea where the people that I have been talking to are located, maybe in Australia but more likely overseas. Why does it take 14 days to get the message through to this company their product is faulty and needs attention? WARNING, DO NOT EXPECT SERVICE FROM LG AT ANY STAGE, THEY DO NOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT.

Clearly not fit for purpose. Fobbed off by LG as maintenance issue despite it otherwise being in pristine condition. My last microwave lasted over twenty years with no issues so I think I know how to maintain a microwave. Customer service appalling. Refused to let me speak to a manager. Despite clearly reading from a script and having to go off and check the answers to my questions several times such as at whose cost they could send someone to assess (my cost) insisted "I am the manager". LG crossed off my list of brands I'll buy in the future as I would rate the quality of their product and their "customer service" as poor.

warranty ended. Followed troubleshooting and contacted LG support who wanted to initiate a service call. This expensive fridge was purchased to replace a fridge that failed. The LG fridge was not purchased by choice but out of necessity as there was a major shortage of appliances at the time due to shipping difficulties. We paid more than we were prepared to pay as a result. I am in awe of LGs ability to design an appliance that fails so soon after the warranty ended. I feel that to pay $$$$ to fix this piece of junk is money that could be spent on a more reliable appliance. In future I will give LG a very wide berth. Product is designed to fail. Junk junk junk.

properly, leaving all laundry soaking wet. This has been happening consistently and has caused damage to my clothes.
This issue has been ongoing for over a year, and despite this, it has not been resolved. The machine has undergone three separate repair attempts by authorised technicians, including full troubleshooting and multiple parts replacements, yet the same problem continues.
I have also had to rearrange my work schedule multiple times to attend these repair visits, resulting in lost income. In addition, some of my laundry has been damaged due to the ongoing fault.
What is most concerning is that despite repeated contact with LG, there has been no effective resolution. I have received multiple phone calls asking for the same information repeatedly, but no actual outcome has been delivered.
At this point, it is clear that the product has a major failure, and the issue has not been resolved within a reasonable time.
I would not recommend this product based on my experience.

multiple repair attempts. Since purchase, the unit has had several serious issues. One of the machines leaked shortly after use and required repair. The second unit developed a faulty control panel, which caused a noticeable delay when selecting settings. This was also repaired. However, further issues have continued. The machine began beeping continuously throughout cycles, and on occasion the display would turn off while the beeping continued and the cycle failed to complete properly. This has already been repaired more than once, yet the problem persists. Most recently, despite another repair visit, the machine is still beeping constantly during operation. Firstly the technician had no idea what he was there to fix. Asked me for a video of the issue even though I explained it to him multiple times. And video recordings were sent when we lodged the repair with LG. He opened the top of the machine and he tightened some things. The technician advised that if the machine overheats, it should not be used for two days to allow it to reset. I find this explanation unacceptable, as a washing machine should not require extended downtime after normal use, nor should it exhibit ongoing faults after multiple repairs. He also told me they would charge me to come out to repair normally. This machine has been faulty from the date of purchase. At this point, the product has not performed reliably at any stage, despite repeated servicing. The issues appear to be persistent and unresolved rather than isolated faults. Given the number of failures and unsuccessful repair attempts, I am requesting that the matter be escalated and that you provide a suitable resolution. This should include either a replacement unit or a full remedy under consumer warranty obligations. I would appreciate a prompt response outlining the next steps.

disappointing because the size of the barrel isn't as big as I thought it would be. Which makes me question the legitimacy of some reviews.
I washed a queen quilted blanket, washed it on the duvet cycle and when I took it out the middle was dry. This was obvious as it being grey I can see and feel the dry patch, so I had to wash it twice! Very annoying.
To get the washing started it's a little tricky to get the hang of at first. It takes a few buttons to click and the washing setting always resets. I like that it comes with an app and you get notifications when your washing is completed, track how much power the washer uses, and has a diagnose program in case there are issues, and it tracks when it's due for tub cleans. Would have been 5 stars if it was bigger.
Another issue is, there is no option to select water level. I think it automatically levels it.
However, it looks nice, mostly quiet, and whole washer inside has a light that turns on before washing starts and when its completed, which makes it feel really modern. Glad I got it on sale because I would be a lot more disappointed if I paid full price.
My 5.5 washer top loader easily fit a queen blanket so having 10kg that has a small drum is frustrating.
