The car that we were supposed to be given was different to the car we received, but it was clean and reliable. Shuttle bus service to and from the airport was easily organised. Will definitely use Bargain Car Service again.

chance and made a booking. The communication from the booking all the way through was outstanding, we could relax knowing everything was taken care of. Tina was at the airport when we arrived, and chatted with us all the way to the depot. The car was clean and well maintained and perfect for our needs. The prices are great and as they state, we weren't charged any "extras" what we were quoted is exactly what we paid (unlike other car hire). We were picked up in the Gold Coast and dropped of in Brisbane after hours without issues. The Service is so far above the big car hire companies I wouldn't recommend anyone else for a trip to the Gold Coast. If I could rate 10 stars I would! A big thank you for a seamless hire!

to refund thier own cancellation but only refunded part of it! National Australia Bank personally refunded the rest! They demanded $1000.00 bond which I agreed to then demanded a credit card hold, both staff unable to show either policy on thier online booking form. They said it's listed under policies elsewhere on thier website. They refused to give me any paperwork and conveniently couldn't reach thier manager on the phone. All we got was a name. The staff looked just as confused. We had to use other funds to hire at Sixt who were much more normal.

been in a demolition derby. Not a panel on the car had escaped a dent or scratch, even the windscreen had a star crack. The interior matched the exterior. By the way the vehicle had completed 107,000 hard K's. I wrote my thoughts to Omega, to get a reply that intimated " what did I expect". Be warned if you are a senior citizen, don't hire from Omega. The hire cost $860 for 12 Days. My son hired a Camry with all the bell and whistles for much the same price.

call me drama because she tried to charge the card two hours later after closing and I was at coles at the register checking out so money was spent and needed to transfer more to cover the $100. Nasty, derogatory and hates customers treats all like scum of the universe when things are not done immediately even tho she may take hours after speaking. Won't give you two seconds to think, will give you anxiety by the way she barks at you.

Edit to say- Both my wife and work full time and can most definitely afford $100 plus the week. We are getting our car fixed at the moment hence the need for car rental. We have already rented and picked a car up elsewhere. You are a hateful human. I told you I was dyslexic- you responded with- so not very smart. You didn't take the payment which had been sitting for almost 3 hours. We assumed YOU were not taking it until Monday when we would be coming in via a taxi. I feel like you just want to hate and make financial assumptions. We were at the checkout and just spent the money and were transferring more. I apologised multiple times for my disability. You were cruel and you were the one making it hard. It's not far and slanderous to say we can't get together such a tiny amount of money. Regardless you need to learn customer service. You don't get away with being horrible and demanding by calling people laughable and attempting to discredit them. You didn't do business in a timely manner one would think when you said you needed the $100 NOW you would charge the card at the time. You lack of empathy and emotional intelligence Is absolutely astounding. Grow up Debbie start doing business professionally, don't be snapper, demeaning and rude. For anyone else reading this- you only have to see the other reviews to see this is a pattern. Debbie is a narcissistic human, this is how she responds to everything and how she treats people on what appears to be her bad mental health days. Go to anyone but deb and the crew- you may land her on a good day or a absolutely nasty no stuffs given day like my wife and ourselves . You only have to see her response to me and others to see my claims of being treated like scum are warranted. Berating people and accusing them of nor having such a small sum of money is absolutely pathetic. Deb and crew are welcome to see our accounts for proof but they would not like to be made a fool of- and as iv said we rented a car for not one but two weeks not an hour later. Why would anyone mess around trying to hire a vehicle if they didn't have the money? Who stuffed YOU over that makes you think simple misunderstandings are people messing you around? We will be contacting a lawyer RE- you putting my wife's mobile phone number and full name on the internet. Also we live at fairfeild she works 40 minutes from us at fairfeild which is only 10/15 minutes from the city. We told you that Debbie. I think you have been very confused alot today- you were the first place we called to be clear not sure why that matters. Do you think it's lawful to post someone's name and personal number online? Is this how you handle things? Dox people? I did call to resolve this she swore at me at called me gay girls, when asked if that was a homophobic slur she continued to berated and attempt to intimate with yelling and swear words. We will have asked to have the mobile number only removed from her response to bring her response in like with the 1988 privacy act here in Australia. We will not only be contacting a lawyer but contacting OAIC now due to her drunk and intimidating way of speaking. We are not going to stoop as low as Debbie and post her personal address and mobile number doxxing her like she did to us over on Google.

of the pick-up I had not received any further information so get in touch with them to find out that they had never created the booking and it wasn't confirmed. The person on the phone was clearly confused. To their credit they tried quickly to find a solution which I appreciated however the only car available needed to be picked up before 4pm in a different location and was a different car than the one I had selected. I couldn't make it by 4pm and had to cancel the plans I had made relying on having the car. The next day I went to pick up the car at the other location which cost me $80 in Uber instead of going to the original location I selected in Alexandria. I picked up the car which was a fairly easy process. The car was however a significant downgrade to what I had booked and quite frankly a really bad car (an old MG3). I got in touch with the customer support team asking to change the car to an SUV or something else. They said they would look into it and come back to me, never heard back. Followed-up to get an update, they apologised for the delay and would come back - never came back. Then sent another email, no response. Another email 2 days later, no response. Another email 3 days later saying I wanted to return the car and wasn't interested in using Carly anymore, no response. A few days later I called asking to talk to the person I was dealing with, they said he was busy and would call back - never did. I called again a few days later and got through to the same person I was talking to, they said the emails got buried somewhere but no apologies. They offered for me to change to the original SUV but being quite an older model and the whole experience I preferred to stay away, I simply asked to drop it off in Alexandria instead of the location I picked it up in which cost me $80 in Uber to get there but they said it wasn't possible. Overall very disappointing experience, poor customer service systems and the cars are all quite old for the price. I've used other services like Karmo and Europcar subscription which seem to have more recent models.

took over, was initially a little frosty, but ultimately knew what she was talking about. Outrageous that they don't give you the van house battery fully charged - they actually suggest finding a site close by to charge up overnight! Had great support during the trip when the van had a few glitches - online & by phone - thanks! Drop off in Christchurch was chaotic. Lolita was unprofessional, rigid and passive aggressive. Glenn drove the airport shuttle & was friendly & very helpful - thanks! Like so many companies it seems that finding staff is an issue. Britz is part of a large conglomerate THL which includes Maui, Hippie, Apollo & Mighty. I won't use them again. Will try a smaller independent company instead.

old. After going through the list of available cars in the 24+ category, the Mustang appeared as an option — so I booked it. When I arrived in Melbourne, I was suddenly told I needed to be 25 to drive it. I explained that the system showed it as available for 24-year-olds, and that’s the only reason I booked it. Staff told me there was nothing they could do, and they also refused to transfer the booking to my partner, who is over 25 the service was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. I’ve never experienced such poor customer care. I won’t be using Hertz again — Budget or Avis offer far better service and better prices. Overall, a really disappointing and unprofessional experience at Hertz Melbourne Airport.
