window for our bathroom renovation was a big deal, the window was the feature and centre piece of the space. Our builder supported us in making the order with wideline and arranging delivery, but it was not smooth sailing after that.

The delivery ended up in Newcastle for some reason, and then when it was delivered to us it was simply dumped outside the front door without so much as a knock on the door. But that was just the beginning. The window was obviously built badly, it had a large long crack through the base of the frame, which was clearly filled with some putty before it arrived but didn’t look good or do the job. It also had incorrectly drilled holes on either side of the frame which left random holes in it. Much of the edging was done with blunt tools and there are lots of tear-out and splintered wood along with several other problems including that the wood is still weeping sap almost 4 months later.

Our builder has raised this issue with his contact there multiple times and it has been seen by a few of the staff, but so far no one is taking this seriously and we have heard nothing but negative comments from the Wideline team. Does Wideline not care about the quality of their products? Do they not want to ensure every item produced represents the business well in the eyes of the customer? I think not.

Little did I know that after literally hundreds of emails to work out technical design solutions for custom doors / windows remotely, and many more guiding me through the installation when I got stuck, my screens are installed and I absolutely love it. They are great quality, keep the bugs out and the cats in and have changed the dynamic of the house. I will be ordering more. John Karakatsanis (Sales and Innovation) was mind-blowingly helpful and patient and worked with me for months to ensure the screens that were shipped was fit for purpose (returns are not possible from my remote location) and that I was able to install them correctly myself, no matter how many hurdles I hit. Gail James (Exports) was also extremely helpful in finding both a window solution and a solution for a low profile track when I had concerns about the height. She was so patient working with me in relation to colour when I even frustrated myself. John and Gail went above and beyond with their service for a small customer with a two screen purchase and I am so grateful. I cannot be happier with the products (Prima Drop Down Screen for window and IZLX with Low Profile Track for french doors). Product and service are exemplary. Thank you so much John and Gail.

get a warranty, which we understood at the time of purchase. However we never anticipated that it would begin to rust after only two years. B and D should not sell these doors in certain locations and we would not have purchased this $15k door if we knew we would have to replace it so often. DO NOT buy a white garage door from B and D if you live near the ocean. Very disappointed with this door.

excellent, much better at keeping extreme heat and cold out. Efe and Huss did an excellent job, very careful and cleaning up after themselves. They took time to fix the sliding door that was always problematic as well as some of the windows and now all my windows and the door perform as if they are brand new. roads. Traffic is constant. Where I can't fault the installation team or the staff I dealt with who incidently were faultless I find the product extremely disappointing. I have had the double glazing installed since the 27th June and although at first I thought there was a difference made, I can honestly say now that I see no difference between the double glazed doors and the lounge room doors which were not insulated. Recently there were all. Ight road works outside my residence and the noise kept me awake for most of the night. Traffic and emergency vehicles scream past my place on a regular basis and I find the double glazing of no use. A very expensive investment with disappointing results.
