couple of days. 2 service visits later it still wasn't adequately repaired. The staff treat customers with disdain for even complaining about their products. When the screen door fell apart after 2 years, the Customer Operations Manager told me that it was meant for aesthetic purposes, not for using! She added that the 2 year warranty is an indication of how long the $2000 door will last! Really? If you'd like good customer service, shop somewhere else.

began failing to open due to corossion on one small tiny piece. Contacted the company and 2 weeks later it was fixed.
The impressive part is when I told them I didn't have to fight them to get it repaired. I didn't have to explain the situation. I just sent the photo. Got a call for a time to attend. They attended when someone else was present. The job was done. Thats it.
In 2026... That is uncommon.
The only other point is compared to a regular screen they are far more expensive. But I knew the cost when I got it done.
Happy with the result.

were rotated 90 degrees so didn't fit. The louvres when put together were too wide and weren't the measurements as per the quote. Instead of sending them all back I thought it would be easier for them to adjust the size of the end one. How wrong could I be? The window showed up and was now 20mm too short, I sent it back, the next one came back 30mm too big. For the last one, it was made as a stand alone window so could not be joined in with the others and it had the wrong coloured mechanism installed. Over 7 months now and not a good result. Next time I'll be ordering windows before I start the build so I can adjust the building to suit the windows, how farcical is that?

Base of window frames 'disintegrating' in several places. [Name Removed] instantly categorised damage as corrosion even though it looks different. … Read more
They then hide behind the 'corrosion is not covered by warranty' on the grounds that it's caused by the environment - so they don't expect their windows to be exposed to the environment? In our case we also don't have any of the high risk factors they list which might contribute to corrosion anyway. Also:
1. Aluminium does not corrode easily (it is used for boat fittings in salt water, truck wheels in salty road conditions and house siding in harsh climates in the US for this reason).
2. Aluminium is self-healing: If scratched, the protective oxide layer fixes itself right away when it touches oxygen.
3. Tough shield: The oxide skin stays tightly stuck to the metal.
4. Slow aging: In normal weather, aluminium holds up for years without wearing down.
Taking all this into consideration we can only conclude the damage we are seeing is the result of poor design or construction - [Name Removed] won't even visit to review and discuss the problems. We've had aluminium windows in previous housed which have lasted much longer with no signs of corrosion.

noise. From the outset, the results did not appear to provide any meaningful reduction in noise, and there were also physical issues with the installation.
The main bedroom door was initially installed the wrong way around and had to be reversed on a return visit. Even after that, there was still a visible gap at the top of the door. Winsulation initially told us in writing that there was “nothing further we can do” about that gap, although they later changed their position and said they had found a possible rectification - which they refuse to specify until they are inside our home. The gaps in the door make the sound proofing element completely invalid.
The internal operation of the main bedroom door is also impractical, with only one centre panel having an interior finger stile/handle and the other needing to be pushed open from inside.
A Bedroom 2 window also does not fully close and seal correctly.
The most concerning part of the dispute has been Winsulation’s handling of alleged sound testing. We were initially told that testing had been carried out with us and that the results had been shown to us, with Winsulation claiming a 19 dB reduction and describing this as around a 70–80% reduction.
That did not happen.
Winsulation later withdrew the statement that the fitter had gone through the testing with us and confirmed that the fitter had apparently carried out the testing alone. They have also stated that they do not have further information about the precise timing or sequence of the readings.
The “evidence” supplied consisted of two screenshots from a mobile-phone sound-measuring application. Despite repeated requests, Winsulation has not explained what noise source was used to generate the readings, when exactly the measurements were taken, or the sequence in which they were taken.
There is also a significant timing issue. Both alleged sound-test screenshots appear in Winsulation’s ServiceM8 record at approximately 8:33 am, while our CCTV shows their employee at his vehicle at 8:32:31 am, leaving the property. Winsulation has not provided the original file or any other information establishing when the alleged readings were actually taken.
This is particularly concerning because our property has Council-authenticated background noise measurements of approximately 29 dB, while their screenshots show readings in the 60–80+ dB range. They have still not identified what noise source generated those readings.
We also have CCTV covering the relevant work areas, including footage showing the fitter at his vehicle leaving the property at approximately the same time the alleged test screenshots appear in their system.
Winsulation is now offering to return and carry out further rectification and further sound testing, but after the inconsistent statements surrounding the original testing, we are not comfortable granting further access until the previous claims are properly explained.
We have asked for clear written details of the proposed rectification and for the original sound-testing claims to be substantiated.
At the time of writing, the dispute remains unresolved.
