Recommend not to use this company. Ordered an split system, they then sent me some vents. 8 weeks ago we were told they would ship our order in 7 days, 8 weeks later still now split system nor an update.

Really good customer service. We bought our blender and some time later we had an issue with it. We used our warranty and it was easy to deal with them. They are sending a new one and we will get it in few days.

I purchased a cordless vacuum and the motorized head wasn't working. I sent a video to show that it's not spinning so they sent me a replacement motorized head and it's working fantastically. Much appreciated Rehu Harris

display and the wires had to angle out to go around the display. I figured they'd sent us rails for a portrait display instead of the landscape we ordered. Contacted support, dealt with [Name Removed]. At first told us our windows weren't wide enough. I sent him our window measurements which were wider than required. Then told us to just have a 2 wide display. I told him if I wanted a 2 wide display that's what I would have ordered. I told him I just wanted the metal rails that the display hangs off to be wide enough and fit for purpose. So then he told me to cut them to make them fit, so I asked he was going to pay to have that done, no reply to that. He then told me that "if I like" I could send the whole lot back for a refund. We'd spent hours unpacking, taking off wrapping tape, bubble wrap etc from the 10 boxes it all came in. Now he doesn't respond at all. cancelled after the order was completed. However, I was charged the full 12 months long after that cancellation, which came with a variety of fees as it put my account into arrears.

According to ACCC and NZCP, these fees are the liability of Mighty Ape, however they are not acknowledging responsibility or attempting to resolve the issue. I will be escalating this appropriately.

about coming from China, but it was a good ordering process and delivery was quicker than they estimated. Even when we had one small quality issue (some paint had chipped off one light), communications were prompt and courteous and the matter resolved within a short space of time. Innovative design, great value for money, and well packaged delivery. Only uncertainty is that the globe is a sealed LED (IP65) - but it should last along time. Recommended.

, when they are based I believe in China. The scam is called a "ghostscam". They advertised 30 day returns that were "hassle free". The goods were of very inferior quality. Since 20 January there have been in excess of 45 emails regarding the returns, and at least 6 phone calls. They have written on 5 occasions that the refund is being processed and to be patient and to wait 2-3 business days for it to show up in my account, with the first occasion being on 12 February and the last being today (24/02/2026). On 16 and 17 Feb they advised me I did not need to return the goods "due to high shipping costs" but yesterday and today advised by email the money will be refunded only after the goods are received. Yesterday I also received a phone message again that the money had been refunded! Apparently "stalling" in this manner is a common ploy often used by these companies. I am in the process of reporting them to SCAMWATCH.

We also purchased the Kooshy kids headphones which we used as headphones, eyes masks for sleeping and also the helped block out some of the overstimulating noise of the plane.
