Be very careful, pricing is vague and will catch you out! I took advantage of the advertised $99 intro offer I saw on Facebook (50% off) but was… Read more

charged $198. I queried this and sent them a screenshot of the advertised pricing on their website which states I would get to use 2 pieces of equipment, the massage suit and a bike, in the session. I was told the intro offer was only for use of one piece of equipment and because I used 2 pieces of equipment I pay double. This was never once explained to me or a choice offered during my 3 visits. I was only offered a choice of a lay down or an upright bike. I did argue this point and the very next day was sent a screen shot of the NEW website wording that they had obviously changed after my complaint!! They could clearly see the confusion and promptly acted, no offer of a refund or an apology, in fact denying the words had been changed just to insult me more. If this was a 50% deal then it's a very very expensive activity. In my final session I was not even hooked up to a heart rate monitor. If you plan to try it make sure prices are explained CLEARLY before you start. I have attached a screenshot of the website wording on 12/11/25 and then the new wording on 14/11/25 after my complaint about the price confusion.

I have been a member of this gym for a number of years now. The ladies section has 2 pilates machines which I absolutely love. There have been some… Read more

issues with the machines but everytime I have enquired about this there has always been follow up. Love the fact that management responds to all negative reviews and have full details regarding the people who have submitted them who are/have done something dodgy. Reception is fine they are busy so understand that they don't really have the time to greet every single person walking in and out of the place. Have never found any issues. You can just go about your business and do your workout and leave which I love.

Pitty the price of fees are so high and going up further! OVER $75 per fortnight plus extras costs on top - hidden charges for holidays and to leave.… Read more

Love the staff, even if a lot have left over the years. The Members are wonderful but are slowly getting less and less. And services eg. Classes are slowly going and facilitates are looking outdated - the lick of paint didn't help.

Real pity the owner has lost touch with what other services are available of equal or better value elsewhere. Really only catering for the injured, self funded retirees that can afford to attend, or the die hard favourites. Those who need your services just can't afford it, over 60s plus - your so call target market.

Unfortunately, I have left and found cheaper options and better facilities - win win for me. Sad to leave the Staff and some members but most of the good ones are gone now too.

Think many others will follow - sorry Green Apple you are limiting your time.

Would not recommend I've had a series of serious issues with this gym that I feel other members should know about before joining. Billing: I was… Read more

charged $150.00 regarding multiple tailgating allegations, without receiving any prior email reminder or notice. When I raised this, I was met with confrontational and unprofessional messages from staff instead of a proper resolution. Dates informed were incorrect ( as I did NOT attend the gym for 2 weeks due to a death on of a family member followed by sickness ) and the multiple videos were never provided.

Misleading sales tactics: When I signed up, a manager told me the outdated equipment would be replaced with new machines. This never happened, months later the same worn-out equipment is still there. I feel this was used purely as a sales pitch to get me to commit to a membership.

Facility issues:

There is no proper stretching area, making it difficult to warm up or cool down safely. The fan system is defective, gym members often fell off chairs while trying to manually turn the fan on because the controls don't work properly. This is a real safety hazard that hasn't been addressed. Air Conditioners also do not work properly.

Customer service: Staff have been dismissive when issues are raised, and management does not respond or follow up on complaints. It feels like once you've signed the contract, they stop caring about your experience.

Overall, poor communication, broken promises, safety hazards, and unprofessional conduct. I'd think twice before joining.

However, it takes personal discipline and determination for anything to work. This is a relationship and like all relationships, both sides have to be willing to work for it. Dishonest Billing Practices and No Accountability - Avoid South Pacific Health Club – I strongly advise against signing up with South Pacific Health Clubs due to their unethical billing practices and complete lack of accountability. I… Read more

was incorrectly charged for two personal training sessions that I never attended, yet despite multiple follow-ups, South Pacific has refused to correct their mistake. After providing clear proof of the incorrect charges—including bank statements—they continued to dodge responsibility, claiming they "couldn’t confirm" whether they actually owed me money.

To make matters worse, even after cancelling my membership, they continued to debit my account. When I raised this issue, I was met with the same dismissive attitude and lack of action.

This gym's management clearly prioritizes squeezing extra dollars out of unsuspecting customers over ethical business practices. If you sign up, be prepared for billing "errors" that they will refuse to fix.

There are plenty of reputable gyms out there—do yourself a favour and stay far away from this one.

this still needs to be said in this day and age but WOMEN DESERVE SAFE SPACES TO EXERCISE!

During the routine hamstring stretch one of the male owners took a video of myself and the class without permission (or knowledge) to (assuming) post on their social media platforms for PR. ‍♀️

Western Sydney women have the right to access health and wellness services that are culturally/socially sensitive and safe.

When I tried to approach the male owner after the class regarding the video, I was snubbed as the KX team was occupied trying to exchange R U OK day roses for PR content from their clients.

On my way out I noticed a Muslim woman wearing a hijab and felt compelled to warn her that the male owner takes videos of the clients without their permission and knowledge. She thanked me and said she’ll be vigilant. #womenlookingoutforwomen

This is completely unacceptable and disgraceful conduct from a female targeted fitness service located in one of Sydney’s most culturally diverse communities.

Virgin Active Namibia Kleine Kuppe From a service delivery and customer experience perspective, Virgin Active Namibia presents a clear case of… Read more

strong infrastructure undermined by inconsistent operational execution.

The facility itself is well equipped and aligns with what one would expect from a premium fitness brand. On that basis, the product offering is fundamentally sound.

However, the customer journey exposed a meaningful gap between brand positioning and frontline delivery.

After completing a short-term introductory arrangement and receiving a discretionary extension from the club manager, I returned to request a further brief extension due to a simple administrative misunderstanding. I arrived in good faith, having already indicated clear intent to convert into a long-term membership.

With the club manager on leave, the acting staff member provided no escalation pathway, no discretionary consideration, and no attempt to retain a prospective long-term member. The only options presented were payment for a day pass or leaving the facility.

From a customer experience standpoint, this reflects a lack of empowered decision-making at the point of contact, particularly in non-material, retention-sensitive scenarios. For a premium membership model, this is a significant operational gap.

Additional observations include inconsistent equipment availability due to machines being out of service for extended periods, as well as general maintenance standards that do not consistently reflect the premium positioning of the brand.

In summary, the infrastructure is strong, but the service execution and customer retention approach do not yet align with the expectations set by the pricing and brand positioning.

For a premium fitness operator, consistency in empowerment, responsiveness, and service recovery is not optional—it is the product.

told wearing hearing aids is unsuitable. No explanation given as to why wearing hearing aids is unsuitable. I was advised that I was being discriminated against by text message from the Membership Advisor rather than in person. At my first Pilates class I didn't wear my hearing aids and mentioned to the instructor that I normally wear them to hear better. The instructor then advised me to wear my hearing aids in order to hear her better next time. Then I received a text the next day saying I was locked out from attending further classes. When I asked at the front desk what was happening the two staff on duty referred me back to the Membership advisor who was unavailable until Monday, after the weekend. The front office staff also said if they try to contacting management on the weekend they are ignored until Monday. When I mentioned the text message advising I was being being blocked from attending further Pilates classes because of my hearing aids they acknowledged that thhey know about that but didn't want to say as it might be hurtful (or maybe they were embarrassed at having to deliver such a message). They also acknowledged that they knew how it felt to feel discriminated against based on their ethnicity. Mixed and confusing messages and discriminatory. After providing my customer feedback and expressing my frustration and hurt by being treated this way, the front office staff became defensive and asked me to leave the premises.. Ironic given the decor of the club is Buddha themed yet they are not true practitioners of compassion in reality. In my career I've learned customer feedback is gold to a firm, that companies pay millions to learn what customers are really experiencing. And to ignore real time customer feedback is folly.
