an excellent job, very neat, well organized, and clearly experienced.
What really stands out is that this isn’t my first experience with them. Around four years ago, they installed an 11kW solar system for me, which has been running perfectly without any issues.
For me, it’s not just about price, honest advice and professionalism matter just as much. Sunselect delivered on both fronts. Highly recommended.

Overall, poor workmanship combined with unacceptable complaint handling. I would recommend proceeding with caution.

This is the worst customer support I have ever had to deal with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We had a $32,000 solar & battery system installed by them.… Read more
At the start of January the solar stopped working. Solargain originally said they would send a technician out to inspect the system. This never happened and then they informed us that the inverter was not working and they would replace it under warranty. Nearly 4 months later we are still waiting for the inverter to be replaced. We are now paying high electricity bills with no resolution in sight. Each time we ring Solargain they say it is out of their hands and they have contacted Solar Edge who they use to install the system. They have said multiple times that they will escalate the matter & call us back. They never do call back!. $32,000 for a system that is not working and absolutely no customer service to rectify the issue!!!

promises made and lack basic processes that organisations are expected to have.
We engaged AdoptSolar for solar & battery installation, last year and since then there has been nothing but issues. The delay in engagement was significant (over 4 months); which I had to keep on following up on!!
During the period I engaged with multiple employees for AdoptSolar -David, John, Raymond, Aaron; all of who lacked accountability and never executed on promises made. They even did not follow up on basic expectations like keeping client updated on state of play. I had to do repeated calls, sms, emails to get answers to any of my questions.
Finally when the installation date was agreed and confirmed by AdoptSolar; for which I took a day off from work, the installation team did not turn up!
This information was not provided by AdoptSolar but by the installer; who is outsourced as AdoptSolar does not have this in-house capability. Rather than AdoptSolar following up for the rescheduling, it was left to me as a client to do their work; which is appalling!!
I managed to lock in the revised installation date and was promised a refund for the inconvenience caused, which had never been processed.
The AdoptSolar Team also forgot to include ‘blackout protection’ that I had requested; which I realised was a normal thing for them from the installers who had come on site for doing the install a week later, on 10-Feb-2026.
I was then promised that the inspection will happen within 2 weeks to get the installation certified; which turned out to be yet another false promise. After 5+ weeks of following up through emails, calls, sms the inspection finally happened on the 17-Mar-2026.
However, again as promised of at least a da if forward warning been provided, I was called in 30 min prior to the inspection by the inspector; which I had to scramble to accommodate. This is a continuous demonstration of the unprofessional manner in which AdoptSolar operates.
The inspector highlighted a few issues that need to be fixed prior to certification being granted; which is what I am chasing AdoptSolar for…At this stage there seems to be no end to my plight!!!
In a nutshell, AdoptSolar is a shoddy company with no basic processes in place (e.g. no complaint management process) , no accountability, blatant disregard to response to client queries grievances, no accountability and the list goes on…
I urge that you please refrain from engaging AdoptSolar for their services due to all the reasons that I have listed above!!
I am working to raise my issues with the regulators to ensure a repeat of this does not occur for anyone else!!

system to be installed for $20k+, paid $10k (half of the invoice), installation confirmed by email 12 December 2025 for 22 January 2026. 1st installation date 22 January 2026 - date/time cancelled by their staff & new 5 February installation booked even though I had taken time of work for the installation & did not agree. Their email stated they tried calling but I had no missed calls or voicemail left, (this became a common theme when dealing with their staff). As well as stating they gave that installation date/time to someone else, even though I had confirmed the date and time by return email. 2nd installation date 5 February - the day prior to installation I call multiple times requesting confirmation of time with no reply. I receive a SMS at 19:01hrs stating "we identified an equipment performance issue" & installation is cancelled, again loss of income as i had taken the day off work again. New date booked. 3rd installation date 20 March - Day before I again call multiple times requesting confirmation of attendance, no reply. I receive SMS installation day @ 0521 stating "installer crew called in sick" 4th installation date 8 April 2026 - TBC - who knows what excuse it will be then when they dont show In my trade when & if a cancellation occurs we book the customer straight away the following days not weeks and months later and never just say we tried calling, we always send email & SMS as well as call and leave voicemail if no answer as well as follow up calls so there is no mistake. Solahart this not my experience with solahart. After sending a 1 star review I was contacted by a lady stating that they understood and I would be contacted by the owner as this was SO uncommon but funny enough I received no call or email or SMS from the owner. I'm now out of pocket for the 3 days I took of work and still have to take a 4th day off if not more considering their history. Its apparent to me they subcontract all their installation work out to third parties after discussions with their staff and its apparent by the way I'm put back to the end of their installation line when they don't show up. Solahart Sydney are NOT, what I was lead to believe, a reputable company. BEWARE
