created a noticeable ridge even when assembled correctly. What frustrated me most was the customer service. The website advertises a “100% happiness guarantee”, “9-month free returns” and encourages customers to “setup & test” their baby essentials products. That’s exactly what I did. However, after testing the portacot and deciding I wasn’t happy with the quality, I was told that because it had been assembled and used, it wasn’t eligible for a return, refund, exchange or even store credit. My concerns were repeatedly dismissed because the product was “not faulty”, even though my complaint was about the quality and overall user experience. If you’re considering this portacot, I’d strongly suggest reading the returns policy very carefully before following the website’s advice to “setup & test” the product.

The play gym fabric is pilling already. For context my son is 12 weeks old, so as you can imagine it has a very limited amount of use. I find it hard to believe that it’s normal wear and tear. So disappointing given the price point.

went into his mouth so we used the traditional swaddle more. But we did use it much more consistently after that especially when he started to be able to escape the swaddle at night. We had a friend who gave us 2 swaddles but bought us the smallest size and our baby was on the upper weight limit so we requested an exchange for both. 1 to the next size up and 1 to the larger one. It took about 3 to 4 weeks to get the exchanged item (due to the process of returning via friend and then getting from friend) and my baby was again at the upper weight limit of one of the exchanged item ! I emailed customer service to see if they would allow another exchange and they said yes and arranged an exchange to our address instead of our friend. I think this is really an example of great Aussie customer service.

all the light options fully dimmable and all the nature sounds too are perfect for during the day when I’m feeding. Having white, brown and pink sounds is incredible. Even newborn sounds like shushing or womb - unheard of!! My first pregnancy I had a very sensitive child who needed shushing 24/7 so loud and at the time I had to pay for an app for it and then had to wake and keep playing all night and I lost access to my phone because of it.

Everyday I find a new thing I can do on it, set favourites etc. I normally hate apps but in this scenario I can do it from another room or across the bed (which feels a lifetime away with a newborn and breastfeeding). To top it off, it has child lock so no touching or knocking of the table losing all the settings.

night on our 3 month old and she can still get her hands right up to her face when the arms are zipped down by her side. The material is very stretchy. Unfortunately she slept terribly. The other thing I dislike about it is that for daytime naps you have to undress your baby down to a singlet to put the swaddle on and then redress when they wake up. Long sleeved onesies will not fit underneath. When you have a little one who has lots of naps during the day it becomes inconvenient. There is also a no returns policy for used and washed items. As I bought 2 swaddles and washed them before first use, I have wasted $120. It’s a great concept but I’m sorry to say that I wouldn’t recommend.

Video differs differs from the product delivered.l but struggled through it and got it setup. Mattress is permanently deformed as a c shape and a suffocation hazard to the child and product is very unstable. Have reached out to Phil and teds but customer service don’t offer any help, just imply it’s not their problem and not their baby.
