I have had my window cleaner taken for the shower. If something is taken now I have no trust in them coming into my home. Previously cleaners had a police check done on them. Jarvis and co. do not provide such a check despite my request. Having raised the matter with the office I have not received any remedy or solution to date, but they are keen to charge me for more cleaning service despite my emails and concerns...

“clean” with a leaf blower and removed a small quantity of rotted old plastic gutter guard (for an extra $100) Two days later there was another heavy rain with the gutter again overflowing and water entering the house. The insurance team showed us photos that the “cleaned” gutter was full of leaves, mud and moss (ie had not been cleaned) and the downpipe was completely blocked. I have contacted the company In Writing, but no reply.

Then, I get a call the night before the big day, and I'm told that the cleaners cannot make it on the day I had booked, and that they'd attend the day after.

I agreed. What choice did I have given the (lack of) notice. They showed up late on the rescheduled day and then refused to clean the fridge and washing machine. They wanted me to call [Name Removed] to confirm what was discussed, and of course it was impossible to get ahold of [Name Removed].

I showed one of the cleaners, [Name Removed], my conversation with [Name Removed] (I saved the chat transcript) proving that [Name Removed] had indeed confirmed that the fridge and washing machine would be included in the clean. [Name Removed] refused, saying I had to pay extra. I couldn't be bothered arguing at this point, and agreed to pay the extra $100 they wanted in order to clean the fridge and the washing machine.

The main reason I picked Dirt2Tidy was that they advertise that they will return free of charge to re-clean the property in the event that their service did not pass inspection standards. Well, the job they did not pass inspection standards and they flatly refused to return to re-clean the property. I had already moved interstate, and hence, couldn't do much to remedy the situation myself. In the end, the realtor called their own cleaner to re-clean the property, which cost me an extra $300.

Then, I also had to chase Dirt2Tidy for an invoice. In order to convince the realtor I had the place professionally cleaned (a professional vacate clean was stipulated in the lease agreement), I asked Dirt2Tidy for an invoice. The cleaners assured me they'd send me an invoice when they got back to the office. Once I had paid, they could not not be contacted for several days. Finally, after several emails and phone calls, they sent me an invoice, and of course, the date and the sum I paid were wrong...

All in all, the vacate clean that should have cost me $530 ended up costing me $930 all because Dirt2Tidy refused to clean what they had promised to clean, did a poor job of what they did clean, and because they refused to return to re-clean after failing the inspection (a promise they make but did not deliver).

The experience was an absolute nightmare.

After 5 hours the 2 men tell me they are done and want to be paid. This was unexpected as we expect them to be here until late or come back the next day. I refused so husband could come take a look as i wasn't happy. Husband came home and felt the same and contacted them, they returned and he showed them all the placed and things they had not done and stayed another 2 1/2 hours. The wife who booked this job also showed up and can't even explain how rude she was and after 2 1/2 hours demanded to be paid even though they had not done what was quoted. Blinds not cleaned, walls not cleaned, skirting boards no cleaned, my floors feel dirty still since they never changed the mopping water, mop was filthy when they started. that they're committed to completing prior to leaving and taking payment - only about a quarter of the list of items was done and the things they did do was of terribly poor quality. within 10 minutes. Unfortunately the service that followed was anything but reliable.

The original cleaners booked for 8:00am cancelled. I was then told another team would arrive at 3:00pm, which became 5:00pm after another delay but they didn't actually arrive until 6:13pm. Throughout the afternoon I was repeatedly assured they were "on the way", that they would "finish it today" and that they "would not cancel". Despite these guarantees, the cleaners continued to arrive hours later than promised and failed to clean to an appropriate standard.

What I didn't realise until the day was that Cleaning Super Boss doesn't actually perform the cleaning themselves - they outsource the work to subcontractors. The poor coordination between them and their subcontractors resulted in repeated delays, broken promises, and a lack of accountability. I spent the entire day waiting around while being given arrival times that were never met.

Overall, the communication, reliability and organisation were extremely poor. If you value your time and want a company that delivers on its commitments, I'd look elsewhere.

something was wrong when they kept calling to delay clean (never known a company with so many broken down vans) and ended up waiting the whole day. They love bomb you with “customer service” then fail to deliver. They don’t stay for the whole time and have so many clauses in their contract you can’t get them to fix an end of lease clean. Had to rebook another cleaner to get the bond back. Such a shame CBD movers is associated with them as they were great.

did their team arrive 1.5hrs late causing me to lose a day’s worth of work, but when they called saying they were finished at 2pm, the cleaning job was not even halfway complete.

The two cleaners that arrived today, [Name Removed] and [Name Removed], were clearly stoned and refused to take any ownership of their lateness. But the worst part was that they didn’t finish steaming the carpet, cleaning the fridge or washer/dryer or removed the grout/mould from the shower like they promised. They even had the audacity to swear at me when I asked them why they didn’t finish what was quoted!

They charged me before they even started but left all the rubbish inside and when they were done absolutely destroyed the front entrance.

Unreliable, unprofessional, late, and indecent! Absolute headache to deal with!

What is worse is that management is also a scam. They originally refused a refund and kept playing dumb, just kept saying “no worries, no worries” and turns put that [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] - the managers - are the same person!

They eventually persuaded me to remove reviews to release the refund.

clean was going to lead to a regular monthly clean. I was meant to have a clean lasting up to 4 hours so I left them in peace and after 2 hours they were gone! Walked into a house that didn't smell clean (should still be obvious with low/no fragrance products), furniture and skirtings that weren't wiped down and bathrooms that were clearly still dirty with soap scum and mould. When staff was called back the first thing that was said was "so what is still dirty, show us?" in an aggressive manner which made me feel very uncomfortable. I have since gotten some mould remover and showers have come up well with the initial application. I was told a special process for the mould should have been done on that initial visit but unfortunately it wasn't. So, after that visit I wasn't keen for Myhome to attend again and was waiting for a mention of a partial refund. I was absolutely fuming at the terrible service I received and really preferred to forget the whole experience. I was then told of a rectification appointment for 11:00ish so I waited. I'm not going to wait all day so at 12:15 I said I was leaving (it was a sunny day and I wanted to make the most of it before school pickup) and its getting late and to cancel staff from arriving. I expected a message if staff were running late, new eta and confirmation from me if that suits - which would have been the decent thing to have done.

All people like me want is a hand at doing a basic (but important) task around the home to give us time for other things. I should not have to tell people how to do their job and in this case all jobs should basically have the same end result. There should not be different variations of what is considered a clean.

All I expect is good communication, to arrive on time and a good service. None of which I feel I received. Maybe you should have ensured I received a good service before you took my money initially?
