He spends a lot of time understanding your requirements and providing multiple options for refinancing your loans that benefit you so you can pay lower interest and get the maximum tax benefit. He proactively approaches you if there is a better loan option and cashback provided by some banks, and helps you refinance your loan to get maximum benefit. I have refinanced my loan on my property a couple of times in the last 5 years and have got thousands of dollars in cashback and very good interest rates. Once you have decided on the bank, Joe comes in and helps you get all the documents in order and works with the bank to make the entire process seamless. I had to only review and sign the documents. The rest was handled by Joe. Both of them have been wonderful brokers, and I have recommended them to my friends.

and you will have no luck trying to negotiate a better rate (such as their new-customer rate that is advertised on their website). Since December 2025 they don’t have web-based internet banking, only a poorly designed phone app that doesn’t provide much functionality. For example, there is no ability to download transaction details for tracking expenses in any useful format like a csv file. Customer service is extremely slow and you get transferred around different people without any progress being made. Trying to refinance away from Tiimley results in extended delays – so far 40 days since the request to re-finance was sent to tiimley and they still haven’t actioned that request – it looks like they are dragging their feet to keep a grip on the trailing commission for as long as possible. Most of the reviews on this platform only relate to the experience of signing up to a new loan or are from before December 2025, when the customer experience dramatically declined. Check recent ratings from existing customers.

but has been locked out of his account. Not access to a top secret, classified information, or access to a bank account. Just an account that tells him how much money he owes on his account and a couple of other simple details. He calls up to get his access back, had to fill out his personal details on their system and upload a photo of himself as well as his licence. He uploaded a clear photo of his digital licence (Victoria), which is a current, government issued form of identification, accepted by Police and nearly everyone else in Australia, but it is rejected because they only accept a photo of a hard licence (which is much more blurry etc.). He doesn't have a hard copy of a licence since it expired and was replaced with the digital one. So, he tries with his passport. Uploads everything and their system doesnt accept it. He calls up to sort it out, they put him through a security screening asking a few questions about himself which he answers clearly, and they tell him the reason it was rejected was it might be illegitimate, even though the various governments, including Australia have accepted it when he has travelled overseas and back. So they tell him if he wants to get access to his account, he will now need to take time off work to go off to get a statdec done. No extra security back up questions like even the bank has or any other simple back up procedure. I call up and they dont let me talk to help him get it sorted with the Company.
