wanted, then going into construction was a smooth transition first we had Rosie and she was helpful then our CL changed to Sam and she was very supportive throughout the rest of the build, answered my emails very quickly. We had Shaun as our SS and he was very detailed the whole build which we were very impressed with and made sure the house came out perfect which it definitely did because with all of our private building inspectors reports nothing major got noted. We built through winter and the Christmas break and the build was only 9 months which we were impressed with.

I’d definitely recommend building with celebrations and especially with all the people we dealt with.

Having built before I had certain expectations, but now I can honestly say that if I ever build again, MJH would be my first choice. I need to call out my builder, Cameron. What an amazing support he has been, nothing ever too much and always taking on any concerns. He even addressed and pointed out things that I really didn't see myself. He kept me informed, gave me updates when needed and and I had complete faith in his management. The standard of MJH is outstanding. The workmanship has impressed not only me, but all my family and friends that have visited, and Cameron continues to be a support even after hand over. We truly never expected this level of service and care from a home builder. I feel lucky to have built with MJH, especially with all the issues the industry is facing. Two legends that made the process so easy for us.

The only thing that could make things better so far would be an itemised book with all the upgrades with pricing for everything. You do get a few open studios for this how ever sometimes sitting at home and going through it no outside stress is the best way to make the right decision.

Disappointing build. No quality control. Lots of problems – Quality control non existent. Plumbing/Gas issues including loose gas pipe behind stove and absence of tap fitting for fridge plus hand shower… Read more

installed in wrong bathroom. Tiling issues including uneven tiles between two bathrooms and wrong tiling layout. Electrical issues including power board with no labels of switching, switches installed wrong way round. Roofing issues including one whole side of house roof without screws, almost blew away in storm. Doors jamming because cracks have appeared, slab or roof moved. Brickwork outside uneven by at least one course of bricks. Windows wrong, sliding instead of wind out as requested. Slab laid without drain pipe for butlers pantry. You name it, there was a problem that should have been picked up by the builder. Last issue was the offer from Hotondo of $10k bonus but apparently this builder didn't honour that offer so we didn't get it.

A special mention to Amba, Melanie, our Customer Experience Coordinator, and Darren, our Site Manager, who were both outstanding. They kept us well informed throughout the build, were always approachable, and demonstrated great attention to detail. Darren in particular was highly knowledgeable, polite, and patient, which gave us a lot of confidence along the way.

James was great, we thought thats to be expected in sales and half expected / worried that quality and serive would deminish after the contract signing. To our pleasant suprise quality and service continued through every stage of our build right through to completion. Ryle Stoddart our Presite Coordinator Carnta Sanz our Building Coordinator Dean Gorsuch our On Site Manager were all fantastic. We currently have a couple post handover items to be addressed, they are slowly being ticked off and we expect that the remainder will be completed with the high Orbit standard that we have become accustomed to. The team has been fantastic throughout the journey. Our sales consultant and pre-site team were incredibly helpful, responsive, and made the process much easier to navigate.

A special shout-out to Peter, our site supervisor, who has been amazing from start to finish. He kept us informed at every stage, communicated clearly, and made sure things kept moving along.

Like any build, there were a few hiccups at handover with some items needing rectification, but these were addressed professionally and promptly.
