they have just removed the water damaged vanity and architraves. Recently, the there has been water in my walk in robe that shares a wall to my ensuite. This was inspected but declared that there was no leak. After escalating this to management, I have had no reply and it’s been a week. I have had to buy a wet/dry vacuum to remove the water. I will now have to take the time to escalate this matter. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

lack of maintenance, no idea how a roof wears and tears or how to maintain an inner ceiling, when queried the best I got was "you're supposed to walk around the home once a year looking at the roof, if there's any screw popping, you need to get a contractor in to fix it" Completely ignoring the fact it was done poorly in the first place, even the finish on the roof from build is atrocious. Home assist wasn't very helpful, due to risk of collapse got a contractor in who stated "these trades building the homes get away with murder" (implying how bad the job was) 25 year warranty means nothing

My initial sales person Corey did well with me being an interstate customer. He went out of his way to send me information to ensure I had what I required to make decisions. He made the initial process as smooth as possible.

My administrative staff at Burbank headquarters changed a couple of times throughout the process - Lisa Krawczyk, Simon Vu, and Kylie Simpson. But overall the administrative process still went smoothly so I have no complaints there.

Sam Spiteri has been my site manager. Sam's management of the site has been very impressive, to keep on top of trades within a street that was fully under construction is commendable. She has kept me in the loop through out the journey by providing me weekly updates with what has happened and what was coming up. This communication made me feel like not just a customer. stemmed from what I considered to be significant inconsistencies between early discussions, written assurances, PCQ documentation and the final contractual position presented. Matters relating to build time expectations, price hold understanding, fixed site costs and later variations became increasingly difficult to reconcile as the process progressed.

I ultimately lost confidence in proceeding with what would have been a major financial commitment. My request for consideration of a partial refund of the $3,000 preliminary works fee was also declined, despite my concerns being supported by email correspondence and documentation exchanged throughout the process.

My advice to future buyers is to avoid building with B1 homes as the initial verbal and written attractive assurances very quickly fade out when you get the inked document and that's when reality settles in! In my opinion, there are other builders worth considering before committing to B1 Homes.
