deal through NAB. I trusted the offer because it was promoted through my bank and assumed I was dealing with a reputable company.

Then, after just three months, MATE increased my price without any clear communication or warning.

If you advertise a six-month discount, customers should be able to expect that discount for six months. You shouldn’t be able to attract customers with a promotional price and then increase it halfway through the advertised period.

I’m a disabled pensioner and, like many people on a fixed income, I actively look for the best deals and budget carefully. I feel completely misled and ripped off by this experience.

MATE may think a price increase is insignificant, but this is about trust and how you treat your customers. And NAB should seriously reconsider promoting a company that handles promotional offers this way.

Very disappointing. I certainly won’t be recommending MATE to anyone.

Voit service is rubish This service is crap customers have to call 10 times for the call to go through and it leave a miss call on the other end but it dont ring. Avoid at all cost

Modems. When ready to connect, called and advised nothing was coming into the house, they had me running around looking for a white box, all the while, they had not contacted Opticomm to connect the property. Shocking to say the least. Was extremely dissappointed, had to go out and buy a starlink so I could work from home. Now, I have contacted Aussie Broadband, and tomorrow Opticomm will come to the property and switch me on, they knew exactly what was needed to get me started. So unfortunately, if anyone asks me about Leaptel, there will be nothing nice to say.

delivery of SIM, to crossing of re-ordered SIM in mail, to trying to port from Moose mobile before they switched off, to trying to ensure the router would be compatible for the switch. I did have to resort to AI advice for this change over as the original Chat Bot could not answer those questions. Once I finally confirmed I could do the switch using the same router all the following problems I had were handled by an Agent (Rose) and she was excellent, 5 stars. Very patient, very competent and very understanding when I was over my head. Rose sorted every obstacle as it arose, kept the communication open so I knew exactly what was happening and has got me hooked up with 2 days to spare! I hope my account can proceed for many years with this level of back up and help.

However, they said my new Realme is not compatible — who would believe that a newer version of the same brand wouldn’t be compatible? They have a list of “approved” phones that are compatible, and, unsurprisingly, you can buy those phones from them. I want to be able to use a phone I actually like! So, I simply switched to another mobile network provider and got a new SIM card, and everything is working perfectly now. Avoid any provider using the Vodafone network. Greedy Vodafone must be banned from Australian market!
