I've rang and used your online chat several times regarding the issue. The stock standard response is they will get someone to look into. There must be an over abundent supply of mirrors at energy locals, because everybody there is looking into it, instead of fixing the problem. Surely 4weeks to fix a computer gliche is unacceptable.

Amber is one of those few companies which has never failed to deliver a great product and more, importantly, great support to enable real savings. … Read more

Amber has pioneered an innovative system which benefits the consumer as well as producing a more rational and sustainable way to produce, use and store energy.

We all have different needs depending on family makeup, lifestyle and time of life. Amber allows you to control your energy use whatever your situation. EV, or no EV, Battery, or no Battery, Solar, or no Solar; Amber has the tools to make the most efficient use of your power and provides the support to help get the most out of those tools whatever your situation. (I'm sounding like a salesperson here, but I simply can't speak high enough of Amber's business model)

Great ways to manage ways to control each consumer which matches their own personal needs, abilities, equipment and level of understanding of the complex generation, distribution and storage industry. Staff are always informative and helpful and treat customers with respect and dignity.

A truly impressive company enabling consumers to save huge amounts of money by the way they use electricity.

first elec bill and discovered they had charged me $5.00 per kW for Peak Demand instead of the 50 cents per kW stated in my Welcome Agreement—a shocking 10 times higher than agreed.

Luckily, the incorrect rate only applied for a short period, and I noticed it quickly. I tried calling their customer service, but after waiting on hold for over 30 minutes, no one answered.

I'm switching to another electricity provider immediately. Stay away from SUMO and don't be fooled by their misleading advertised rates.

The Aurora+ app is a joke! When we moved into our house we noticed unusually high bills, we connected with Time of use tarriff. The bill prompted us… Read more

to change tarriffs to a flat rate, then after a lot of watching the app power trends we identified our meter tarriffs were backwards. This was rectified by the meter contractor. We then put a solar panel installation on to lower the bills and new heat pump and hot water timer, yet the bills seem to be growing. We are always in credit within the app and yet the amount deducted daily and usage daily aren't lining up, now that they've increased price per kwh and lowered feed in tarriff its time to look for someone else to provide power. The customer service agents must have a prerequisite to not read enquiries as they respond with emails that dont answer simple questions. There is no way via the app to accurately work out the funds in and out.

they're forcing upon everyone. Calling the sales phone line went unanswered over 20 minutes, tried live chat instead and they they're currently taking 10+ minutes between basic replies.

Asked the rep to change to the cheaper plan tier after the plan changes in August meant to occur, instead they said I'll have to reach out closer to Aug 1st to change. They can auto change your plan to an expensive pricing tier no problems, but can't do it for a plan in future they're offering on the website.

Still waiting 15 minutes for a reply to my last question as I wrote this review, imagine leaving someone on hold for 15 minutes between basic billing questions...

Not great!

service team was extremely knowledgeable on energy efficient homes and were very quick to respond to our questions as to what kit to buy. The kits were in pristine condition when they arrived and were an absolute breeze to fit using the online instructional videos. We barely had to use our heater at all after fitting them, we were able to turn our heat off before lunch an not turn it in again until the following morning. The price we paid for ecoMaster products was quickly made back from our reduced energy bill. I swapped to Engie nearly 4 months ago, lured by the 17% discount on the bill. I was promised a bi-monthly billing cycle, which most reasonable folk… Read more

would assume is every 60 days. No. My first bill was for 53 days and the second for 39 days. The second bill was based on an "estimate" and when I called they stated our meter was not accessible, which is not true. (No locked gates, no animals.) My next bill is due to be issued in just under 2 months from now, making that billing period 74 days. When I called they stated that "bi-monthly" in their world means 60 days or less. I did point out that 74 days is longer than 60 days. I was asked if I would like to change to quarterly bills, but I did not dare ask what "quarterly" meant to them. I will be sending through photos of my meter and asking for a bill to be re-issued with this actual read and then going back to my previous provider. 17% is not worth the grief of irregular bills and estimated reads, which usually end in a vicious cycle of under-payment and over -payment and bill shock in between. My advice is to leave Engie alone.

signing up I got the welcome email and the PDS, however the rates were different on the PDS. I then got another email saying that there was a pricing issue and some of the prices were wring and a new PDS would be sent, however I didn't receive an updated PDS. So looks like I'm paying a lot more than what I sighed up for.

I have tried to contact support, but like many comments here it appears to be non-existent. Web chat doesn't work at all, nobody answers the phone, the callback feature (press star) doesn't work and no response from the web form ticket system.

On the positive side the sign up and app stuff worked, but deceptive pricing and no support is not good at all.
