Started with calling 1300 number and waited more than 20minutes after an AI operator taking my call carried on bout nothing.
While on hold notice online communication option and proceeded to enquire this way instead - now being on hold 30min. Email sent and immediately received AI generated response from “Sarah” basically highlighting my question in the response and continuing to say that “she” could NOT answer my technical question but would have someone from the “team” look into this and get back to me. A bit of detail was incorrect in this email, so I proceeded to provide more information and sent this further email, to now have “Hariss” respond to me mimicking “Sarah’s” email and again repeating my question and again offering to refer my technical question to the team. 48 hours later I still don’t know whether the front panel of a 5 panel blind slides left or right. In the meantime missing out on 20% discount my initial website quote provided for.
My recommendation to you is move away from this space and support real people employing establishments who are genuinely warm and happy to discuss and overcome your enquiry issue or whatever the reason for your contact.
In my case there are other blind companies happy to have answered my call and respect my business.

mislead by their advertising. Do not believe blinds listing "complete light blockout and privacy" - they're talking about the fabric NOT the blind as a whole. The bracket system when sold as 'recess fit' means no privacy at all down sides*. Apparently it's completely acceptable to promote a blind that allows anyone to see in the room by the window edges. False advertising, misleading product and they have no interest in customer once the purchase is made. They'll send you 2-3 FAQs deep to try and cover themselves, while taking weeks and months to get back to you. Bought 5 blinds and couldn't use any of them (some not even right size). Wish I'd read all the reviews before ordering. Never again.
*Interestingly since I took this officially further with my CC company, they updated the website images and warnings when ordering but still use the misleading terms. But, the size of the gap exceeds their suggested "approximately 15mm", and the base rod and then fabric are each narrower still!

Throughout the purchase process, the staff were extremely rude and unpleasant to deal with. Communication felt dismissive and unhelpful, which made what should have been a straightforward purchase unnecessarily frustrating.
When the installation took place, the experience didn’t improve. The installers were incredibly unfriendly and came across as though they didn’t want to be there at all. There was very little professionalism or courtesy shown, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable.
Overall, the blinds themselves may be fine, but the customer service and attitude of the staff made this a terrible experience. Based on how I was treated throughout the process, I would not recommend dealing with this business.

Over our 13 years in SE Queensland, we've previously had two different roller shutter brands installed, before most recently selecting Queensland Roller Shutters: since installation, we've found the quality of the Queensland Roller Shutter product to be better than the previous brands, because the motors are quieter, and the insulation from the product is much better. We live on the coast in a salty environment and after several years, one of our two Qld Roller Shutters recently developed a jammed mechanism: I attempted to correct it, which made matters worse and caused damage. I phoned the company on Monday afternoon: [Name Removed] answered, assessed the problem and asked for some photos of the broken roller shutter. I was expecting to have to wait some weeks for a repair to take place, but was advised that afternoon that [Name Removed] could come and repair the shutter mid morning the following day! Because the company had the details of the product on their file, together with the photos I sent to them, meant that the correct replacement slats etc could be brought to the job, rather than waiting for a second visit to bring back the correct part (a good thing to avoid). On Tuesday morning I received a text message advising the time that [Name Removed] would arrive. He arrived on time, promptly accessed and examined the shutter, explained what had happened, had the correct parts in his vehicle, carefully fixed the shutter then advised what he had done. The shutter looked brand new on completion! While he was here, he asked about our second shutter: I advised that it was operating well, but had developed a slight, periodic clicking sound. [Name Removed] spent more time accessing and examining the second shutter mechanics, then identified and corrected the issue while on site. Cheerful, competent, reliable and professional service! Because the shutters were installed (not much) less than 5 years ago, the repairs were able to be seamlessly conducted under warranty. These people provide a superior quality product with excellent service and they can be trusted. I'm not a company employee or relative and have not been paid for this review: I'm a retired management consultant who rarely writes reviews, but I make an exception for outstanding service. From my experience, this is a firm who respect and empathise with their customers and do not rush their customers. If convenience and peace of mind is important with product selection and service when dealing with tradespeople, I highly recommend Queensland Roller Shutters.

the direction of use to the letter. It rolled down lopsided then got stuck, then when rolled up again, just got stuck in the pelmet. It took 4 weeks of back and forth with customer service to get someone to fix the issue. Despite saying we didn't want the original installer back because of his poor behavior (which went beyond the poor install) they scheduled him accidentally. While they called us in the morning to advise, by that time we were desperate so got him to attend anyway. As soon as he left and we were putting our child to bed we noticed he hadn't fixed it properly and light was pouring from the top. Then the blind failed a day later, the left track left too loose so the blind was just popping out of its black out track. The company has gone so far as to tell us we can't have any of our aircon on when the blind is rolled down, anywhere in the house, which is obviously unreasonable, or the blind will keep failing, so they are taking no responsibility for the poor quality of their blind. Don't bother with expensive motorized blinds. Who knows if they will work and if not, the slowness of the service is saddening, and the company may blame you for any issues. We are still waiting for a refund or for it to be fixed.
