2025. I've followed all of their instructions, I've made multiple phone calls and I'm consistently being told it will be resolved by IT and still hasn't been resolved. Over 8 emails, lots of back and forth and at least 3 phone calls over 11 months, with no resolution in sight. It's very unprofessional and shows a real lack of care by not prioritising fixing a customers account access - I've not been able to see whether my account is still functional post merger. I had to ask 3 times for access to PDF statements to even verify my employer was paying into the correct account since the merger/transition. This has been anxiety inducing and utterly frustrating. I would not recommend Verve Super to anyone.

outright unprovoked aggression just for the sake of it without gain makes no sense at all. They fabricated complete falsehoods, unfortunately they had multiple years of tax to process right at a time of substantial loss and incurred expenses that were all zeroised. Every single expense was written off as unclaimable even utilities. Their 'results' bore absolutely no resemblance to the careful fully balanced spreadsheets with links to invoices at all. It appeared they could not do basic addition and subtraction. I would never have signed off on what they submitted to the ATO were it not for the deceit of not being able to see what they came up with. I have accused them of being drunk or high doing my processing because I cannot account for what they did at all. They should not be preying on people and pretending to be tax agents when they will not listen or respond to complaints, rebuttals or any form of communication. Stubborn refusal to do the right thing - I only hope someone takes their $30 k loss and turns it into a $6k payable tax result. I had to pay tax on a substantial loss and financially it has ruined me for a long, long time to come. I have been unable to do urgent repairs to replace black wiring in my property as a direct result of Just Super Fund or even pay to process further tax elsewhere. Then they had the hide to pursue me for the balance of what I supposedly owed them until I explained to the debt collector what these monsters had done to me. How you stop incompetents like this from preying on other unsuspecting people I do not know. They can't add up at all. They can't identify expenses. They fabricated extraordinary stories - even an overseas property that had nothing to do with me and was related to another client! They need to be shut down.

Super - has not invested in Fortescue (aka FMG), which has operated a large, destructive iron ore mine on Yindjibarndi native title country in norther-west WA's Pilbara region since 2012 with no agreement whatsoever with the Yindjibarndi people.
In my view, it doesn't matter how good you are at saving the environment (or how much you say that you are), you are not supporting a sustainable future if you ignore the autonomy and voices of the first peoples of this country, most of whom are still facing extreme social-economic disadvantage, including in the regions where mining wealth is made.
While other Pilbara iron ore miners pay native title holders a royalty of around 0.5% of FOB revenue generated by mines on their country, FMG offered the Yindjibarndi a capped rate of $4 million a year, for a mine covering around 100sqm of their native title that generates AU$5-7 billion annually and has completely destroyed 124 of their cultural sites, damaged another 116 sites (sites estimated by FMG's archaeologists to be at least over 40,000 years old) and destroyed sacred water ways.
The Federal Court recently upheld the Yindjibarndi's compensation case against FMG, but the matter remains unresolved, and FMG remains a highly unethical investment, until the company makes a fair and respectful agreement with Yindjibarndi.
Thanks again, Australian Ethical Super, for steering clear of this company, and for having some backbone and discernment regarding what "ethical investment'" means.

contribution that hasn't made its way to my account (1 week later) - incidentally, a colleague whose contribution was made to Australian Super had theirs arrive the next day (from the same bulk transfer).
The consultant couldn't help and said he was putting me through to another team - a further 15 minutes later and the call dropped out.
Last night I tried again, I was on hold for an hour again and the lady said she would keep me on her phone to prevent what happened last time - not only did the same thing happen again, but I was dumped back into the main line hold - which went past their office close time, never to be answered! So, with a cumulative 2.5 hours wasted, I was none the wiser! Their online portal is 3rd world and updates twice a week if you're lucky! Thankfully the funds are there this morning - showing transactions as at 21 June - the previous update was effective 18 June (the contribution was made on 16 June).
In short aside from the ridiculous systems they have in place, their customer service is frankly terrible. I lodged a complaint a week ago in relation to their system, which to their credit I did receive a timely response, however, I am unable to reply to that complaint via email (a very basic thing to do in this day and age), I have to go back via their portal and fill out a whole new form OR.. call their 13 number - that way I can wait on hold for 2.5 hours and not have my complaint resolved! To the management of ART - look up Human Centred Design, or let's start with the basics Customer Service for Dummies. I am seriously considering rolling my fund over to another fund manager!
ART's response to this complaint was asking me to contact either their 13 number or their Live Chat - did they actually read my complaint?!

been very happy with the service that they provide. They have supported us over the years as our SMSF needs have changed. 4 years ago we changed from Individual Trustees to Corporate Trustees. We did this when one of us got sick and there was the risk of only having one trustee. Knowing what we know now we would recommend setting up your super as a Corporate Trustee from the start. That being said iCare made the change very easy to do. The reason we chose iCare was the existing online service that we were using didn’t support a full range of legitimate SMSF investments and had restrictions on bank accounts and brokers. iCare SMSF allowed us much more flexibility. To get the best experience it is important to do good record keeping which is requirement of any SMSF. All aspects of fund management are taken care of for a simple monthly fee which is very reasonable. Thank goodness they were selling legally flawed properties as we won on the basis of an illegal build. Sad but true. Problem is going through that there system refuses to accept my photo no matter how many times you do it so cang log into spaceship to change to my new number to recieve verification code to mobile to access my account to change any details.
So inform them time and time again all they do is say verify yourself by biometric and send you a link when you explain you can't and why they just say sorry that's the way it is either you do it by biometric or not at all.
This company is a joke refuses to let yourself do it any other way so they are stuck with my closed bank account and I'm stuck with an account I can't use because they refuse to see reason.
