My last overnight flight home was disturbing. At ~3AM I was dozing when a senior female flight attendant woke me to do a questionnaire? Iterated back and forth for about 3 rounds of discussion and quickly came up with a superior itinerary that included a home visit during Holi which was crazy cool. All the relevant sights to see at various locations we had identified ahead of time that included Mt. Everest flight, Taj Mahal and tiger and leopard sightings in Ranthambore National Park among others. All of the major locations in New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodpur and Udaipur as well as 4 days in Katmandu. 4 and 5 star hotels, local guides in all locations plus a dedicated English speaking driver who was outstanding. Get Satish Kumar if you can! Tremendous value proposition that included internal air flights and breakfasts in all hotels. Everything happened exactly as planned which hardly ever happens. We have done a lot of private tours and Odynovo ranks up with the best.

requested $500, leading me to believe it was the hold; instead, they processed it as a non-refundable "Platinum Insurance" fee. They effectively "double-sold" me insurance I already had, disguising a fee as a deposit. Check your contract: if they charge $500 but write "$1.00" in the deposit box, you’ve been had.

Additionally, they have predatory toll policies. Unlike mainstream agencies that cap daily fees, Bargain charges a $5.00 admin fee PER TOLL GANTRY. I was charged $90 in fees alone for $125 of tolls.

Finally, the car was poor value: an old, worn vehicle with over 100,000km and doors that didn't align properly from a previous accident. They charge premium prices for end-of-life vehicles and use fine-print deception to inflate costs. Avoid them and use a reputable global agency.

Premium Economy at a reasonable cost. All communication with travel consultants was excellent. Then we were well looked after with our stay at the Eastern Oriental in Penang and Shangri La in KL and could only rate both hotels as excellent!! Airport/hotel transfers were on time . accommodating. Our driver was also fantastic, getting us safely to each destination and somehow managing to play Tetris with our luggage every time we moved hotels!

Japan has so much to offer, and I feel like this tour allowed me to see a lot of the country. I don’t think I would have been able to fit in so much in such a short time otherwise. That said, it did feel quite rushed at times, with limited time at each location to properly explore and enjoy it. However, I do understand that with such a packed itinerary, peak-hour traffic, and Japan’s spring holiday period, we had to stick to a strict schedule.

The tour group size was 40 people, but it didn’t impact the experience at all. Everyone was friendly and followed instructions, so everything ran smoothly.

On the downside, I wasn’t happy with the booking platform and process. I originally booked for four people (2 adults and 2 children), but then found out six weeks before the trip that I had to pay an additional $500 AUD for my daughter, even though she was already listed as the fourth person on the itinerary. This wasn’t clearly explained upfront.

The accommodation also wasn’t very family-friendly, as we were given two separate rooms at each hotel, which meant splitting up the family. That said, Leia did her best to arrange rooms next to each other, which we really appreciated.

Overall, I really enjoyed the tour, and Leia truly made the experience special. She was incredibly friendly, and the kids absolutely loved her.

If I were to book another tour, I would probably consider a different booking platform due to the lack of family-friendly options and the unexpected charges added after full payment.

terms and conditions, which is when I realized you can't actually get your money back. They also prefer to do everything over the phone—especially payments—using high-pressure techniques, and then they only email you the full details after the fact.

Due to health reasons and their high-pressure methods, I wanted a full refund but was denied. I would not recommend going with Global Work and Travel. If you do, make sure you read the very complex terms and conditions on their website thoroughly first. Even then, after this experience, I’d prefer to do it on my own.

Most important to us was low deposit $25pp. As our cruise is 18 months out. We looked at many Online booking sites, this was easy to follow and good communication about payment options and cancellation fees
