I was able to speak to a Customer Support representative very quickly, who promptly reassured me that my children and I would be taken care of financially in respect of booking a new transfer to our initial destination. The claim form was incredibly straightforward and within 72 hours I received an email confirming our claim was accepted and would be paid in full. I have previously used Allianz, and while their service was superb, Southern Cross outperformed them by providing such a speedy resolution and straightforward claim process. I love the fact there is a zero excess option also. No one ever wants to be in a position where travel plans are disrupted, but it's very reassuring to know you're with a travel insurance company that's there to support you. Thank you Southern Cross for enabling my family and I to have a smooth journey for our overseas trip. We can now and look forward to a wonderful holiday.

morning. I decided to have it replaced; what an easy task that was- online only. It took 5 minutes on the YOUII website; 10 minutes later, I had a phone call, all Ok. The next day, O'Brien's rang me, and two days later, a new windscreen was fitted by a very professional company; they had a very comfortable waiting area with free coffee, and I was very pleased with the service. I logged in to extend online, and it said, sorry this function is temporarily out of function, I called, but no one working weekends. The $140 I was paying a month cover covers random stuff that you don’t use. It’s an absolute scam. I called BUPA and now I pay $50 a month and up to $700 remaining and an option to go to their preferred dentist with no gap to pay. Do your research before using see u hbf.

exploratory surgery just one day before the waiting period ended. While I understand that waiting periods exist, I was disappointed that there was no flexibility or discretion applied given how close the incident was to the end of the waiting period and the circumstances involved. The surgery placed a significant financial burden on me and I had taken out insurance believing it would provide support during unexpected emergencies. Having my claim denied was incredibly stressful at a time when I was already struggling to afford the treatment my dog needed. What was even more frustrating was that after the claim was denied, the condition was then classified as a pre-existing condition and excluded from cover. I felt this was unfair given the nature of the incident. I was advised that the exclusion would only be reassessed after 18 months, which was very discouraging. While the staff I spoke with were polite, the overall experience left me feeling unsupported and disappointed. I joined for peace of mind during emergencies, but when faced with one of the most stressful situations I've experienced as a pet owner, I felt that the policy provided very little assistance.

1st time using this service. Easy to navigate around and understand. Fair price too. Fingers crossed all goes smoothly on our travels
