to have our flexi hoses replaced as advised by our strata company. We went with Plumbdog Plumbing due to the many positive reviews. The plumber who did the job told us we needed a new mixer tap in the bathroom because the flexi hoses couldn’t be removed. However, the new mixer tap he fitted couldn’t be used properly because of where it was positioned in front of the mirror. It took a lot of negotiation to have it replaced with the old mixer tap - he argued he wouldn’t be able to get a refund if he returned it. The plumber then proceeded to replace all the flexi hoses but connected the hot water hoses to the cold water outlets and cold water hoses to the hot water outlets. This was only discovered after he left. When he returned to fix this issue, I received no apology from him. I received an electronic invoice via email after I paid the account which I saved for future reference. I have recently found that I am unable to access this bill when I click on the link attached to their email. When I contacted their office, I was informed they had changed their software and were unable to provide an itemised bill showing works done as they could not access the old software. They confirmed they had my name on their records but could not provide any further information apart from that. As a result, I am unable to provide proof to my strata company that the flexi hoses have been replaced by a plumber in the last 5 years. I was reassured my concerns would be passed onto the head office and someone would call me back, but I received no response.

I liked that they gave a quote for the whole job, unlike other plumbers who, when phoned, would not give pricing or said that their technician would quote once it was clear what needed to be done. Ember's plumbers were well-dressed and polite. Their van was neat and organised. I'd use them any time.

Needed a plumber urgently to attend cracked copper water pipe. Rang Tap Doctor and was put in touch with John who came within and hour and half. Very professional and did a great job. I thought the cost of $220 was very reasonable.

He tried to tell me that hydro was different to the jetty and that the hydro cost more but that wouldn't completely work in my situation and might need to rip up toilet and floors to find out - what?!! To update, I managed to get another plumber in to clear the pipe with the jetty for half the amount and no ripping up my bathroom floor! You told me you were licensed and after this happened, I went to look it up and found none listed.

Worst plumber we ever had. Charge $300 just to show up and did even try to fix the leaking kitchen down pipe. Refused to pay but they wanted to charge interest and recovery fee. Never again with this mob.
