Carlos came to our home and took the time to explain everything properly. He was never pushy — he gave us all the time we needed to understand our options and genuinely helped us work out how the extra battery capacity would suit our situation, rather than just trying to make a sale. After we received the quote, I asked him to put a number of things in writing so we were completely clear before proceeding, and he did so promptly and without any fuss. That kind of transparency gave us a lot of confidence.

Thomas from the office was a great help too, guiding us through getting the concrete slab sorted in preparation for the install so everything was ready to go on the day.

The installation team, led by James along with two others, were extremely professional. They did a first-class job on the install itself and left the place neat and tidy — you'd hardly know they'd been there.

Deposit. I was told this deposit was fully refundable. Eventually I received the Pre-Instillation Information and the information was all wrong. I requested an update and was greeted with Silence. I investigated the proposed Alpha Battery Model. All the Alpha batteries have similar and confusing names so it is very difficult to work out what you are actually getting. I tried to contact them for clarification but more Silence I contacted Solar Battery Group and asked to Cancel this order and return my Deposit. I have had only Silence since. I said if I did not receive a response I would contact Consumer Affairs, my Bank and write Reviews. Still Silence so here is my review.

Update - I just received a Call from Solar Battery Group after my Google review was published. Lots of excuses, Sales rep away, new system lost emails etc etc etc. Looking at previous negative reviews, it seems not much has changed. They say they have refunded my deposit but I haven't seen it yet.

about installing a battery, as there were 2 Government Incentives. We thought it a good idea to check it all out. One of the incentives we were looking at is coming in by the end of this year for Seniors, we registered our details to contact us when it is released by end of this year. It is not that we use a lot of electricity it is just with the increases in electricity we now, after many years of not paying for electricity,........ have to now pay for electricity. my place in August 25 firstly they installed the wrong size battery then the system did not work, kept tripping the house down, had to turn it off they fixed it (that's why there is 2 start here, not 1) to fix it they drilled more holes in my house, including one in the wrong place, they took weeks to fix that then, I discovered a friend had got twice the system size , same brand, same stuff, for the same price I paid. they also said no worries we can upgrade battery size later, they just forgot to mention subsidies only work once no matter how much capacity you claim and finally, they keep calling me every couple of month to ask if I ended up installing solar .... their sales teams don't even know they installed solar at mine a year ago. how unprofessional . for a company that takes pride in outstanding customer service and charges premium for it...I am very disappointed.
