Ferguson plumbing sent a young guy...what a smart arse...when I questioned what he was actually doing he advised their price of $900 to unblock a pipe less than 2 meters long.!!!

He explained they had specialist equipment worth thousands of dollars.. they were fully trained...bla bla...obviously his employer had instructed him on how to justify their ridiculous pricing...when I got a bit heate

Got an invoice later but quickly sorted by the AI bot ( bit freaky though). Billy was super friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

metropolitan told me it was a major job and they need to access in through the wall behind the kitchen, remove ensuite tiles to fix. Called in another company who fixed it in under 2 hours from the kitchen side and cost me $350 in total. If it was that easy why didn’t metropolitan fixed in when they attended site???? I have attached the original review and the new repair that Eire plumbing fixed for a third of the price. Metropolitan you should be so ashamed of your lack of customer service and over the top pricing. Absolute money grabbing rip off artists. They should be shut down.

You were not interested to listen the main issue but were upset with the one star rating I had given to you in Google. I had no option except to hang up the phone because of your tone and will never recommend you to anyone in the future.

Regarding Fair Trading Commission I have already lodged the complaint. I don't need your suggestion. I am a well educated retired public servant.

Because of your threatening phone call I had the severe panic attacks and increase of Anxiety as I am severe Depression patient.

Don't send any email in the future just reply to Google. Regarding your wording " i know exactly what type of person you are" means a lot for me and to use this words to a retired public servant you have insulted to a senior citizen. I have sent your email to Fair Trading Commission for further action.

for the plumber to arrive. I was charged $1039.90 to have to copper T-junction pipe cut and replaced. This job took a whole 30 minutes to complete! I was advised that it was not any more expensive being a sunday as they rates are the same any day of the week. I would say he used no more than 40cm in total of copper pipe. We had no option to pay to have the pipe replaced as the water was clearly leaking out. I had already paid the $140 call out fee over the phone by credit card before he would even be booked in to attend. I have called 3 different plumbers and asked what the charge would be for the same job on a Sunday - I was quoted from $350 to $600 was the range. Would not recommend Jims Plumbing to anyone unless they had a couple of kidneys they wanted to donate!!

confirmed the issue. They charged me $250 call out fee, to then claim they didn't know what fitting was needed. Then called me 2 days later quoting me $950 for the works, claiming it was a burst pipe (it was not). The customer service woman was extremely rude as well. Do not book!!
