ordered honeycomb blinds for my new home, which has been a horrible experience. The fits are terrible so some windows the drop barely makes the frame and others they’re too long so they’re bunched up in the frame, I also believe the sizes to what I provided were adjusted and so there are gaps in the sides. However, my biggest concern is that they do not at all match the colour of the description. When I queried this, I was told the product can vary from the description (nowhere on their website is this specified) and essentially it’s my own fault for not making use of their free sample service. For reference- I ordered ‘ice white’ blinds and they are very much grey- I’ve included a picture. Upon first response to this review, I was sent a sample of the product…? I assume to prove to me that it is of course my fault for not ordering a sample, rather than admitting that the product does not match the description. I’m very disappointed in this purchase and the customer service is more than lacklustre. I would not recommend this product, I will use a different store for the replacements and future projects and would warn any potential shopper to get a sample as their website pics are misleading!

DIYblinds made measuring easy with their measuring guide and help with installing with a video.

The only issue I had, was that I couldn't get the bar that holds the blind to rotate forward and click into place. It turns out the solution was to move the left hand top bracket about 1 cm to the right, it turned out that the bracket was hitting a plastic support bridge inside the top cavity of the holding bar's up/down mechanism (our up/down cords were located on the left of the blind). After relocating the bracket the blind rotated forward and with a firm push upward clicked into place. The second blind install was a piece of cake, having learnt this trick.

Now to see how well they perform blocking sunlight and heat, but first impressions seem very encouraging.

For anyone that needs darkness during the day to sleep, these blinds are amazing, on a bright sunny day outside, the room was so dark that lights needed to be turned on to see!

Throughout the purchase process, the staff were extremely rude and unpleasant to deal with. Communication felt dismissive and unhelpful, which made what should have been a straightforward purchase unnecessarily frustrating.

When the installation took place, the experience didn’t improve. The installers were incredibly unfriendly and came across as though they didn’t want to be there at all. There was very little professionalism or courtesy shown, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable.

Overall, the blinds themselves may be fine, but the customer service and attitude of the staff made this a terrible experience. Based on how I was treated throughout the process, I would not recommend dealing with this business.

measurements, etc and gave us a quote which was very reasonable that same afternoon. The shutters arrived exactly on time as advised at the time of placing the order. Ben, contacted us to make a time for installation and again right on time Ben arrived. He was absolutely brilliant and did a fabulous job. He was so careful in the house and cleaned up everything. on the site, but we narrowed it down to a few options. Half Price Blinds quickly sent us swatches of the potential materials, which really helped select what we needed.

Ordering was easy on-line (no sales pressure). Double checking the dimensions is crucial!! Delivery was quick, though one package suffered damage in transit that impacted the trim on the blind inside. A replacement component arrived very quickly. Service was responsive and supporting.

The blinds were exactly the correct size and they were fairly easy to fit. No special tools or techniques, but it is definitely a two person job. An electric screwdriver/drill and a few individual screwdrivers were all that was required. Again, double check the mountings with the instructions before you commit!

The result looked great. The inframe roller blinds replaced traditional hanging drapes and seemed to make the room much bigger. We were very pleased with the outcome, and for a very reasonable price.

Three years on the blinds still look great. The material has held up well against sun and usage - no fading or cracking.

It is worth mentioning that the blinds have a bottom bar that is quite easy to remove. Our cat forced its way into the window frame one night and put a small tear in the blind at the bottom bar. It turned out to be quite easy to unmount the blind, remove the bottom bar and trim a few centimeters off the bottom of the blind to eliminate the tear. Reattaching the bar was easy, and there was plenty of excess length. These are good blinds if you are a bit handy!

At Decorug I was served by Alex and the experience was completely different. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and actually took the time to understand what I was looking for instead of just leaving me to figure it out on my own. He explained things clearly, was patient when I had questions, and didn’t rush me at all.

The rest of the staff were also easy to deal with and made the whole process feel relaxed. After visiting so many shops the service I got from Alex really stood out.

Ended up finding exactly what I needed and couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend Alex and his installation team to family and friends.

Before I paid, they called me every single day, multiple times until I committed. During the sales consult they agreed to remove my existing curtains as part of the job. The second the money was paid, that agreement was GONE. They now refuse to do it. Since paying I've called repeatedly. When someone actually answers they say they'll call back. They never do. The same people who wouldn't leave me alone before payment won't return a single call now. Friday last week was meant to be the installation, nobody showed up, no call, nothing. This company does not give a care in the world. Once they have your money that's it.

$3,000 out of my account. No blinds. No communication. No accountability.

Highly recommend to stay far away from this company, absolute joke of a service. Sales guy who promised to help if anything went wrong is completely ignoring all texts and calls. 0 STARS.

bottom which im ok with. But because they were too short we unstitched the hem & it was a nightmare to hem them. The fabric on both the curtains was not the same, so one has a bigger hem than the other. Next time we will order custom for that bit extra. They're lovely curtains but it was a bit disappointing.
