one of the worst I have ever had with a retailer.

I ordered replacement covers for my Long Beach sofa in November. Lounge Lovers emailed to confirm they would arrive on a specific date in February 2026, so I threw out my old covers that morning in preparation. When the new covers arrived, they were the wrong size — for the Mini Long Beach, not the standard Long Beach.

I immediately explained that my couch now had no covers and that I urgently needed the correct ones. Despite the error being theirs, I was told I would need to wait the standard 12–16 weeks again. There was no expedited delivery offered, and I had to repeatedly follow up just to receive a minor $150 discount.

For nearly four months, my family and I have had to use a couch with no covers. The cushions are now in a terrible state because they are designed to be protected by covers. The zips have broken, feathers are coming out daily, and I have had to constantly clean up the mess.

In June, the replacement order finally arrived — and Lounge Lovers sent the wrong covers again.

Once again, I have been told I need to wait another 12–16 weeks for the correct covers. No expedited delivery, and no adequate compensation has been offered. I am now left with my couch in a far worse condition because of the delays and repeated errors.

I would think very carefully before ordering from this company. Based on my experience, they appear to have little interest in putting the customer first when something goes wrong.

After more than 13 years as a customer, I will never order from Lounge Lovers again. This has been the worst treatment I have ever received from a retailer, and I will be contacting NSW Fair Trading about their handling of this matter.

27 June 2026. I paid quite a bit extra for the deluxe delivery service. On the day, the delivery guys brought only the legs of the dining table and left because “everything else was too heavy.” Their boss promised to organise a redelivery with more people and call me back — he never did, and my follow-up calls were ignored. It is now 10 days later and I have received almost no communication, no redelivery date, and no resolution. The company has completely ignored my repeated questions about the two bedside tables, which were suddenly changed from “in stock” to pre order until September despite multiple prior confirmations. As a result, I have no furniture from this order. Their responses have been vague, unhelpful, and evasive and follow up is non existent. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. For a company that markets itself as premium furniture, this level of poor service, lack of communication, and failure to honour commitments is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend Koala Living to anyone.

on your website. The quality and characteristics of the mattress are significantly different from what was advertised, which influenced my purchasing decision.

Despite reporting these issues promptly, I was advised that the mattress could not be returned. I do not accept this response, as my concern is not a change of mind. I believe the products do not meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law because they are not of acceptable quality and do not match their description.

I request that Fantastic Furniture provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund for the faulty and misrepresented products. Please respond within 7 days. If this matter cannot be resolved, I will consider lodging a complaint with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading and, if necessary, pursuing the matter through the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT)..

While the furniture itself is nice, the finished product feels different from what I saw in the showroom. The mattress also sits much higher than I expected, which was disappointing.

I was originally told in March that my order would arrive by the end of May. As May came to an end, I hadn’t heard anything and had to contact the store myself, only to discover there had been a delay. No one had bothered to inform me. Had I not called, I doubt anyone would have updated me.

The communication and customer service throughout the process were extremely disappointing. I was the one who suggested a solution when only part of the order was ready, yet it was made to feel as though the store was doing me a favour by arranging two deliveries, despite the delays being entirely on their end.

To make matters worse, I paid for delivery and assembly of my bed suite, which included the bedside tables. The tables were delivered unassembled, and I was later told that I would need to attach the legs and handles myself. That is not what I paid for and is simply unacceptable.

After spending around $5,000, I am very disappointed with the unnecessary stress and lack of customer care. The products are decent, but the after-sales service is poor. My advice to future customers is to get every promise and detail in writing.

Overall, good products, but very poor customer service. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this store.

Despite this false advertising and no way to view the product in person before ordering (nor any photos anywhere of this colour, just the website listing to go by), even in its packaging untouched they still charge a 15% restock fee and delivery costs. ie. No exchange available. Very disappointing when the website colour is so misleading. Not good enough when its an $800 item. Won't be buying desky again nor recommending to anyone.

Bought thousands of $ with Zanui so far but no more and I advise you to also search out alternatives.

Now, there's no way to contact the company, the website is removed. No email or contact link, nothing!

This is is a scammer business and with new owners will get doubtlessly get worse.

Says delays up to 10 days because I'm remote(ish) but that was more than a month ago.

A company's internal dynamic is irrelevant to purchasers. Raise a ruckus and vote with your $$$ … go somewhere else.

the centre of the bed. When sleeping on one side you feel like you are lying on a diagonal and going to roll into the middle of the bed. We gave it a few weeks to see if it would flatten out but it didn't. We emailed the company to organise a return but they said they required a video of us both lying on the bed so they could see that we were rolling in. We purchased this mattress after moving to a new state and didn't have anyone we could ask to come and take a video of my husband and I in bed! Shortly after my husband had to suddenly fly back to our home state for a family matter and was gone for almost 8 weeks. He has since returned and to deal with this mattress, i now sleep in the spare room and he sleeps on the new mattress because it's not so bad if just one person sleeps in the middle of the bed. But it's completely unusable for both of us to sleep on. The edge of the mattress (about a foot or so around the whole edge) is hard like a plank runs around the outside of the mattress. And when we're both sleeping on it, it feels like sleeping on the side of a hill (or a valley, i should say). We are not heavy people, I'm under 60kg and my husband is 85kg. I would not recommend the queen size of this mattress for two people, and honestly, not honouring a return policy unless you get a video of us lying on the bed is pretty ridiculous, i don't know how we even would have taken one to accurately show the slant. If you do purchase, be wary of the return policy. I attempted to write this review on their website but it simply would not display. Only their 5 star reviews appear to submit. Ended up posting the review but gave it 5 stars so it would display. Was taken down later that day.

B2C Furniture kept coming up during my search. The reviews were excellent, the products looked great online, and I liked reading how many customers found the furniture easy to put together.

To be sure, I visited the Parkdale showroom and was honestly impressed. The pieces looked even better in person, and I was lucky enough to visit during their May sale. I still took my time and spent the next few weeks visiting other furniture stores, but I kept comparing everything back to B2C. The quality, texture, design and overall feel were just on another level for the price.

A month later, I finally made the decision and purchased the Siesta Beige Sofa Bed with Storage (Right Chaise), along with the Casa Hardwood Extendable Dining Table and Casa Natural Hardwood Dining Chairs.

I'm so glad I did. The pieces have completely transformed my home and look exactly as I had hoped. Great quality, great value, and a really positive buying experience from start to finish.

This definitely won't be my last purchase from B2C Furniture. I already have my eye on a few more pieces and look forward to adding to my collection in the future. Highly recommend.

relatively good quality, mostly we shopped in store. Delivery drivers in particular we have found have always had excellent customer service. However, our most recent experience with the online store and warranty dept was disappointing. I was shopping online for some bedside tables and ordered some from James lane. They were delivered about a week later and we realised immediately on delivery that there was discolouration and damage. The light wood and rattan material had large vivid yellow staining, and obvious damage to the bases. It looked like they had been used before, or potentially were floor stock. We called James lane customer service immediately who told us to email, which we did. When we emailed they put us in touch with their warranty department. We sent clear photographs, explained the damage and requested a refund, however they refused this saying it wasn’t considered major damage. Despite escalating this multiple times and pointing out that as per fair trading, even if there is multiple small damages this amounts to major damage and we should be entitled to a refund. They continued to say that yellow staining was a by-product of their manufacturing process, and that they didn’t agree we should get a refund. There was no mention of staining or potential discolouration on the website when we bought the items e.g they were not sold as distressed wood. In fact the light colour and finish of the items was a key selling point. The damage to the bases affected the balance of the units and could cause damage to flooring beneath. We made this clear but they glossed over it with no real answer except that they would not allow us to return the items. We explained we buy a lot from James Lane and would accept a credit note for the value so we could buy an alternative, but they also refused this which we felt was totally unreasonable. After a week of going back and forth with them and several escalations they offered a $200 partial refund for us to keep the tables, but given we spent $1000 on these tables and they were damaged we did not want to keep them and didn’t feel it was a satisfactory resolution. When you spend this much money you expect the items to arrive in brand new and perfect condition. Even if you buy beside tables from Kmart for $60 you can return them! Overall, it seemed like they acknowledged the damages/issues but wanted to keep the money and not take accountability. Disappointing that we have bought so much from them, but we will absolutely not be shopping with James Lane again.

& the cushion is a nice quality fabric & very comfortable. It was pretty easy to put together, the instructions were pictures only, but the pieces had letters on them. Instructions were easy enough to follow. It was great that the edge of the chair was wrapped which helped protect it while assembling it. I managed assembling it by myself fine but it would be a lot easier & quicker with two people. Overall a great chair, really comfortable & stylish, looking forward to using it in summer.
