When we decided to relocate interstate from Tasmania to Victoria, I began looking into House and Land packages. The first thing that stood out to me was the excellent reviews for Boutique Homes. We engaged Rifa as our home-building consultant, and the experience went beyond expectations. From our first phone conversation through to the day, we travelled to Melbourne to visit the display homes and meet her. She provided clear timelines, transparent cost breakdowns, and valuable design recommendations that fit our budget. Communication was always prompt and professional. As parents with a young kid and full-time working couple, we were concerned about scheduling our team meetings to discuss the design, as they were mostly after work hours. She never hesitated, always put us first, and did late night meetings every other day. As someone in the construction industry, I also had a few design questions and concerns, and she explained everything in detail. The biggest challenge was finding the right land to suit the Pasadena design, with the minimum required lot sizes and width, while staying within our budget. We had initially chosen another block, but it was slightly over budget, and she quickly found a better option that still met our requirement. She gave it to her 100%, and we could not have asked for anything better.

maintenance service. This issue has been going on since **May 2026**. We have already had **THREE inspections** at our property, and yet Home Group now wants to arrange another inspection. How many inspections does it take before someone actually takes responsibility and fixes the problem? What were the previous three inspections for if, months later, we are still at the same point? We have serious cracking in our home. People have attended, inspected it, made promises and told us things would be followed up, but we are still waiting for meaningful action. Phone calls are promised but don't happen. We constantly have to chase for updates. Every time we expect something to finally be done, it seems to turn into another inspection, another delay and another excuse. The most disturbing part is that this has now become a **health and safety issue for my family**. A piece from the affected area fell, and my **one-year-old daughter put it in her mouth, resulting in us having to attend the Emergency Department**. What more needs to happen before this is treated as urgent? We have a young family living in this house. We should not have to keep worrying about pieces falling while Home Group continues arranging more assessments instead of giving us a clear rectification plan. Since **May 2026 – three inspections, months of waiting, repeated follow-ups, promised phone calls, and still no proper resolution.** We are not asking for anything unreasonable. We simply want our home to be safe and the defects properly investigated and rectified within a reasonable timeframe. The after-Handover communication has been pathetic. There appears to be no urgency, no ownership and no proper escalation despite us clearly explaining the safety concerns. Home Group was happy to build and hand over the house, but the real test of a builder is how they look after their customers when something goes wrong after handover. Based on our experience, the after-sales service has been extremely disappointing. **Stop sending people just to look at the same problem again and again. Give us a proper answer, a proper timeframe and actually fix the issue.**

If this is the standard of after-Handover service being provided to homeowners, then honestly, God help us and anyone building with you guys.
