supported by good communication throughout. Although we encountered a few hiccups during the contract and colour selection stages, these were understandable, particularly as we were first-home builders navigating the process for the first time.

As they say, first impressions last, and our first interaction with Mr Zubair Khan at the display homes was genuinely exceptional. He is such a genuine, approachable and straightforward person who was always willing to help. Even when we faced challenges along the way, Zubair remained supportive and readily available to guide us. His sincerity and willingness to assist truly deserve appreciation.

I am honestly lost for words when it comes to expressing our gratitude to Mr Kynan, our Site Supervisor. He has been one of the biggest highlights of our entire building journey. His dedication, humility, approachability and willingness to guide us at every stage were simply outstanding. Whenever we felt stuck or had concerns, he was always there to lead us in the right direction. His friendly and caring nature made us feel as though we were dealing with a close family member rather than just a site supervisor. He genuinely went above and beyond our expectations.

A well-deserved 10 out of 10 for Kynan! He is undoubtedly one of the finest representatives of Carlisle Homes we have had the pleasure of dealing with.He was our site supervisor. People like him truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression on customers.

We would also like to acknowledge the Warranty Team, who deserve a big round of applause for their prompt attention and willingness to address our concerns. We appreciate their responsiveness and support even after handover.

A couple of suggestions for improvement:

- The period between colour selection and contract signing was somewhat confusing. Going through numerous pages of documentation every time a change or upgrade was made was a little challenging. A more streamlined and user-friendly process would make things much easier, especially for first-time builders. - With technology advancing so rapidly, it would be fantastic if Carlisle Homes could explore offering an interactive virtual home tour, covering both the interior and exterior of the selected home design. This would allow customers to visualise their future home more realistically and make more informed decisions during the selection process.

Overall, we are extremely happy and satisfied customers!

Building a home is a significant milestone in anyone's life, and we are grateful to Carlisle Homes for being part of ours. Despite a few minor challenges along the way, the professionalism, genuine care and dedication shown by individuals like Zubair and Kynan made the entire experience truly worthwhile.

warranty repairs. Unfortunately, his report on where the crack occurred was incorrect, and my claim was denied. However, upon escalating the matter further, EightHomes sent out another assessor named Chris. Chris immediately recognised the previous assessor’s mistake, and scheduled a return visit to perform the necessary repairs. I cannot rate Chris’ customer service skills high enough. He conducted himself courteously and professionally and performed the repairs at a very high standard. Additionally, he followed up after the repairs were completed to ensure there were no following issues and that everything was to my satisfaction. delay due to oversight of land assessment. We're sold something that can't be built as they didn't factor in regulation or what neighbours will build. This caused us 2 months back and forth bordering on harrassment as we would receive multiple calls in a day to sign a PCV we didn't want to accept as first option presented to us would devalue the house by 70k. We consulted professional valuer who's kind enough to say we can withdraw from contract and demand payment from builder. When we didn't accept PCV and demanded cashback, they then said they have another option on design. We gave them a second chance after escalating to their GM. 2nd issue is when the project moved to customer rep who introduced himself as someone who's going to be out primary contact towards the build but given we pushed for our right to select our own surveyor so we can be protected on quality, when I asked them to forward the plans to our appointed surveyor they refused to do it even though they haven't credited us the build permit/surveyor fee. Such poor and stressful customer service!!! Causing us now further delay. Only thing we're holding on to now is hopefully the build quality will be good. I hope management sees this and train their employees better on customer management

And then came the build experience, the builder’s toilet was placed on the block on 18 March and the keys handed over to me on 6 October – 6.5 months for a single level 32 SQ custom built home. I drove by every day and watched the progress and spoke with the various tradies on the job, again all delightful and happy to answer my questions. My site manager, Joe was also an absolute dream to deal with and had a good eye for detail.
