It was more than 50 per cent cheaper than other companies. The policy was very easy to set up. I have had a previous car insured with Australian Seniors.

document on the orginal call. Of course, this was not done within the 5 business days. I called and ask for an update and was told that I will will be provided an update within another week. I told them that that was not good enough as they said I would get an update within 5 business days to which I had to then stand my ground and ask for an update on the call. Funny enough, after on hold for around 3 mins, my refund was approved... go figure.

put in the promotion code. But after 3 months, the offer still NOT honoured.
I called them, the rep said,”I didn’t put in the promotion code”. I said,”Woolworths should not do this dirty trick to lure new customers, it has no excuses to deny the claim”! Then the rep said, I need to cancel the existing policy, and create a new policy to claim the reward points also the premium may different. What a NOT laughing joke! it wasted me an hour on the phone to answer all the questions to create the new policy!
Is this the tactics for Woolworths to mislead customers and deny the claim ???!!!

Toyota Insurance and KINTO. What should have been a straightforward insurance repair has turned into weeks of delays, safety concerns, inconvenience and, in my view, completely unacceptable handling of the situation.
My vehicle has been with the repairer for approximately six weeks. I was then contacted by the repairer and told they had failed to realise that the front grille of my vehicle contains a camera, so the required part had not been ordered.
This camera is not simply cosmetic — it is associated with a number of the vehicle's safety systems.
I was then advised that obtaining the required part would take approximately another eight weeks.
Despite this, I was expected to collect the vehicle and drive it while waiting for the part, with safety features potentially unavailable. I refused. I advised Toyota that I would not accept the vehicle until it was fully repaired, unless Toyota was prepared to confirm in writing what responsibility it would accept for the vehicle in its incomplete condition. I also offered for the vehicle to be transported to my home by tow truck if the repairer needed the space.
Unfortunately, that was only the beginning.
Because I needed transport, Toyota arranged a KINTO rental vehicle for me.
I attended the first location to collect the rental and found a vehicle containing other people's shirts, coffee cups and rubbish. Even staff at the location indicated that I should not take the vehicle.
After contacting Toyota again, I was directed to another location approximately 30 minutes away to collect a second vehicle.
The second vehicle was reasonably clean but had numerous scratches and existing damage, which I photographed before driving away.
On the second day, while refueling the vehicle, I noticed what appeared to be severely worn tyres, particularly the front-left tire, with significant wear on the outer edge. I considered the condition unsafe and stopped using the vehicle.
I contacted Toyota and was effectively given two options:
Travel to a third location to exchange the vehicle, at further inconvenience and expense to myself; or Take the vehicle to Bob Jane T-Marts myself and arrange for the tires to be replaced on Toyota/KINTO's account.
I find both options extraordinary.
I am Toyota's customer. I am not Toyota's employee, vehicle inspector or fleet manager. I should not have to take time off work and drive a vehicle I believe may be unsafe so that Toyota/KINTO can rectify an issue that should have been identified before the rental vehicle was supplied to me.
I asked Toyota to bring a replacement vehicle to me and exchange it. Alternatively, I asked them to confirm in writing the responsibility they would accept if they expected me to drive the vehicle in its current condition to have the tires replaced or exchange the car.
They would not provide that confirmation.
This situation has now continued for more than a week. I have a rental vehicle that I do not consider safe to drive, while my own vehicle remains at the repairer and I am being asked to accept it before the repair is fully completed.
I have now lodged a formal complaint with AFCA regarding Toyota Insurance and a complaint with the relevant Fair-Trading authority regarding KINTO.
After everything that has occurred, Toyota's response has essentially been that my complaint has been referred to its resolution team and that someone may contact me within 30 days.
Thirty days.
Meanwhile, I am left without a vehicle that I consider safe and properly repaired, despite paying for insurance and expecting Toyota to properly manage my claim.
I am deliberately documenting the facts of my experience rather than making conclusions about whether particular conduct is unlawful. Those matters can be considered by the appropriate regulators.
However, from a customer's perspective, the way this has been handled has been completely unacceptable.
The repeated failures, lack of urgency, safety concerns, inconvenience and apparent expectation that I should personally solve problems with vehicles supplied to me have made this the worst insurance experience I have ever had.
Based on my experience, I could not recommend Toyota Insurance or KINTO to anyone.

the exact same amount had been taken out again. This left me with no money for the weekend and, with two young children, I was unable to afford food for them. I contacted Allianz immediately and explained the seriousness of the situation to Sam from the Adelaide contact centre. I was told that nothing could be done until Monday. I asked to speak with a team leader and was initially told there were none were working. I was then told supervisors were working, but that Sam was unable to transfer me. I specifically asked to speak with his supervisor, Joe, and even offered to wait, but I was still refused the opportunity to speak with anyone who could assist. After spending more than 40 minutes on the phone, I was still left without my money and without any resolution or meaningful assistance. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. In this situation, I felt completely dismissed despite explaining that this duplicate payment had left my family without money for essential food over the weekend. Very disappointing customer service and an extremely frustrating experience. I expected much better from a company like Allianz.

to have a rework done and it has now been 6 months from when I first contacted Shannons. We are a long time customer with multiple vintage cars and spending an absolute annual fortune on car insurance. "Back in the day" they were awesome, but now.... The policy isn't worth the paper it is written on, especially if you have a rework done. I have begged, pleaded and tried everything including contacting AFCA/ATSIC. I was even told by their own staff to contact AFCA/ATSIC!!! I have spent more hours than I can count on hold waiting to talk to someone including over 20 phone calls, and emails, and sms's to the person allocated to my case, told countless lies, fob offs and finally after 6 months I have an answer and it's not a good one either. I am totally over Shannons and I can't believe they have totally gone to the dogs with their service.
